D-Link India Customer Support

I am using D-Link Wireless Router at home, it was disconnecting me from the net frequently. I guys on D Link India website for solution, they replied back in a day, I provided the necessary details to them (Firmware version, hardware version etc…), in 2 days I got new firmware version file in mail…

Upgraded the router…and everything started working fine :)

So one more good company with good customer support which I came across….

    Hi Frnds,
    Pls Help me ! actually i m using MTNL connection ( Broadband ).It is not working properly when i complained to MTNL department, he simply said its your router problem not in connection, i m using DSL 502T ADSL Router. somebody told me that in router there is a LED called ADSL Link, when it glow ( not blinking )constantly then your internet will work Properly, that’s true? or if my router’s ADSL Link Blinking then what to do ? PLs help as soon as possible……

    I am having DP 300U print server and 3 printers(1.HP Design Jet 430D/A1 2.HP Laserjet 1020 3. HP Deskjet 2300D) HP Design jet is working ok but HP laserjet 1020 or HP deskJet 2300D are not working .Can anybody help me>

    Hi! I bought a D-Link GLB-502T modem/router for Data One broadband here in Guwahati. It should be a plug and play modem but it’s not working. Does anyone know, whether Data One here in Guwahati support ADSL 2+ router modem? If it does support can anyone help me? Thanks.

    It seems u two know the process..

    I have bought dlink GLB 502T ADSl 2+ router.While configuring i gave the ip address,gateway and others as instructed in the manual.Now i open the webpage http://192.168.1.1.The login page comes but after giving the username & password both as’admin’ no page is being displayed.please say how to configure the router.please mail me if anyone can solve it.

    Hi, I’ve purchased this modem from the market about 6 months back for mtnl triband. Now from 15th august MTNL has introduced iptv facility through triband. Now I want to take this facility. but can I use this modem for this facility? As the modem is having only one usb and one lan port. Also suggest how should i connect it for more than 2 PC’s in my office.

    hi, can anyone give me link to download USB drivers doe GLB 502T ADSL 2+ modem for my Vista Home Basic O/s the cd which came along with it does not have drivers for vista. somehow the ethernet connection is not getting through. it disconnects after some time on ethernet connection. and am not able to ping 192.168.1.1 after connecting to internet for sometime 2-3 minutes. and if the internet connection is not on, i can ping to 192.168.1.1 even after an hour.
    so it seems after connecting the tel line and the internet line coming up somehow my dlink hangs. i can also not perform the h/w reset through that F button behind when it is hung
    help!!!

    hi have a dlink glb 502T adsl2+ router &my xp-64 bit does not accept the xp usb drivers.I would like to know wher i would get the xp 64 bit drivers.plz inform me at my mailing address

    D-Link India has cheated everyone because its GLB-502T ADSL2+ router’s driver is not supported by Windows XP as it has not passed Windows Logo. I still installed the driver but most of the time my router hangs and I have to reboot every 5 minutes or so!

    does the driver given on the website for ADSL 2+ GLB-502T router work fine with Windows Vista operating system.I used it with Windows Xp and it works fine but doesnt work with Vista.If there is another driver which is Vista compatible can somebody pls send it to me on devenr@rediffmail.com

    I have purchased D-link DSL-502T ADSL Router, which have one ethernet and one USB Port. I have Two Computers (P-IV). Can I run broadband on both the computers with this router first with USB port and other with Ethernet port or I have to purchase ethernet switch. Can both the computer be joined without any other switch. Please solve my problems.

    please can any body of you give me the latest firmware so that i can update my router. the warranty period of my router has expired so they will charge me for upgrading the firmware. i have posted on their website to give me the latest firmware thru mail but of no use. please help !

    U can use it on both the computers simultaneously
    Give differnt IP addresses 2 both the computers 4 ethernet tcp IP & 4 usb tcp IP. In the same series
    Alternatively u can have proxy enabled on one of the systems which is connected 2 the USB provided both the computers have ethernet & r connected 2 each other by a cross over cable

    thanks kiran for looking into the matter . i have d-link glb – 502t adsl+2 router with firmware of 3.7.0.0D.0. its better to have a new version of the firmware. so i am asking for it.

    Dear kanan,
    The speed of download using torrent files depends on the system from where u r downloading the data from, the host computer, r u getting the same speed while downloading from other sites too? If so then u can contact mtnl 4 the same. Also check if the telephone is connected 2 too many parallel lines before connecting 2 the modem.

    i have purchased this Dlink-GLB502T and tata isp broadband connection i was using it perfectly but one day i reset the modem by mistake and when i tried to configure the same settings , the default gatway is not saved inthe router why is it so , the reason for me to go for this modem was because the modem supplied by tata was giving me the frequent disconnection problem i solved it by changing the modem to this modem but now i am facing this another new problem can ayone out there to guide me

    Hi,
    I am using MTNL Triband services thru D-Link router GLB-502T on Windows XP. I want to use this router with Windows Vista thru USB port of laptop instead of present Desktop Windows XP. It gives error when used on VISTA that “The required line was not found in the INF”.

    i have old type hywai roughter of bsnl recently i have got dlink wifi roughter from my friend i want to configer it but i am unable to do so can u help in configrating it pls tell me the setting for both the bsnl roughter is alays connected and the bsnl roughter is old type hywai type with four lan connection.

    dear sir,
    i have d-link print server dp300u(1usb2parllel).i install 1usb and 1 parllel printer on it after installation the parllel printer is working fine but usb one is not working after every restart of pc that usb printer is hp 1018 leserjet(usb) so please give me solution on it

    Hi!
    we have a bsnl bb connection through dare globle DB 108 adsm modem.
    now we brought a GLB-502T ADSL2+ ROUTER to connect 8 nos pc through a switcher. I tried different ways to connect to the net but failed. So is this router compatible with bsnl? If so, can u tell me a clear proceedure…i,e configuration setup…

    D-Link should totally withdraw this GLB 502T ADSL2+ router from the market as it does not supply drivers and the file supplied is not supported by Windows XP. So, majority of the customers are finding problems. I too bough this router last year but I could not use it as it’s not supported by Windows XP.

    We have purchased D-LINK Print server DP-301P+ and we had set Admin password to the same. But we have forgot admin password. There is no any reset button. The print server is attached with TOSHIBA e-Studio160 printer.
    Please tell us to any hard rest is available with pin configuration or any another solution is available, so we can reset in our lab only.

    i am using bsnl broadband connection with d-ling 502t modem. the modem couldn’t work proper good connection. every few minutes the modem adsl light not glow and then disconnected broadband connection. some websites not open example: “www.icicibank.com” this not open. what is the problem my broadband connection bsnl or my modem glb 502t or how can i configure my modem setting. help me very urgent.

    hi to all my friends i read all the comments of my friends. well i want to after 2 years of many situations like these i found all u r affected with poor bsnl broadband service. friends D-link 502t modem is one of the finest modem avaliable in market. it dont need any file or setup to install in windows xp. and connectivity is amazing. i want to tell before connecting ur broadband through bsnl u should see once landline properly. i mean there is no noise in landline not a single drop. and when u connect dont forgot to ping. it will give u right info that ur connectivity is proper with exchange of u have drops in packets. tc
