I am using bsnl broadband and reliance data card . and i have configuerd my Outlook express for VSNL mails, i can receive the mails but my outgoing mails are not going and the following message is comming

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: â€˜mail.vsnl.netâ€™, Server: â€™smtp.eth.netâ€™, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0Ã—800CCC0F

but smtp is in smtp.vsnl.net only

Hi,

I have been using user id vijayvk@vsnl.com or vijayvk@bom3.vsnl.net.in.
I have configured the email on my outlook , but whenever i send mail from different ISP I get an error.
I have set the pop3 to bom3.vsnl.net.in and smtp: smtp.vsnl.net
Please help me on how to configure the outlook so that I can send and receive mail.
Else I would have to switch on to different mail domain and also the different internet service provider.

My id is aryco@vsnl.com, I’m using outlook I’m not able to send any mails, outgoing server id is smtp.vsnl.com,let me know what is the reason & solution

Dear All,
I have a e-mail account in VSNL.COM. But i am unable to receive and send mesaage since 25.11.08. When i click send/recieve button, the window open and shows “connected to vsnl.com” but at least the message shown disconnected. Can anybody help me.

I have a email acccount aringhosh@vsnl.net. I am not able to send the mails from Microsoft Outlook for the last 3 months. I called up the customer care but everytime they come saying it takes 48 hrs and unfortunately i guess for them its yet to come till date and there are no follow up.But when i delay in paying for the broadband they are constant follow up and one day delay my account is inactive.This is what service they provide.Till i am still looking for VSNL technical person to come back to me to get my problem solved..Hope this is rectified in this century.
