So the story starts now…
11.30 PM
Feeling very sleepy, decided to sleep early…since its damn hot here so A/C is kinda must….
I put on the A/C and suddenly everything stops…Electricity gone….
I expect it to come in 15 minutes but our dear electricity board does not want everyone to sleep peacefully….the electricity comes at 1.00 AM….
I feel quite relaxed but still I could not stop abusing them……
Started the A/C again, felt like heaven…..
1.15 AM…heaven turned to hell…..electricity went again….first word came out of my mouth was….A$$h**les…..
It comes again by 1.30 AM….again started A/C and tried to sleep….
1.35 AM….it went again….this time i literally shouted, mother*******……
I loose my patience now….
I started writing about it here….the power supply comes again in 10 minutes….not I am not feeling sleepy at all…I have office tomorrow….have to wakeup at 7 AM but because of these bastards tomorrow will be a bad day in the office for me….
Now let me tell you the reason for this electricity problem, there is shortage of power supply in Maharashtra so because of this they started load shading….in simple words….put of the electricity supply in some areas for some specific duration….
And who will decide the areas? The fools themselves….
In our area 90% of the people pay their bills on time and almost no cases of fraud…so they have decided that…the ones who pay the bills properly, screw them royally….cut of the power supply anytime…let it me fu****g middle of the night…we don’t care….let them suffer….
I had read news about some party attacking electricity board offices, I used to feel bad at that time but now when we started facing the same problem, I feel that they were absolutely right….coz I know the frustration when the light goes, they deserves it….suckers need to be taught lesson….
Finish….me, really frustrated….

the light seems to go very often
i never faced such problems when good ol BSES was there

well….i guess problem is with bses part which is not with reliance………………………………..also i heard mumbai pays 31 crores rs xtra to electricity board each month …so that whenevr 1 grid fails another start working in 10 mins…4 mumbai…………..also only 2% of electricity thefts happen in mumbai comparing to 39% in maharashtra
in 1991 maharshtra was a state which was power rich……and c now we r beggars…….c wht the bastards did to whom v voted……

I understand ur frustration being facing the same situation here at Vellore. But Load shedding might not be the reason for your problems. Now that ACs have become cheaper and are available for easy loan and even monthly rent people have started to use them heavily. And when there is an usage of more electricity than the station can provide something somewhere goes kaput. I experienced this here last week and spent nearly two hours with the linemen from TNEB.
I know Maharashtra has seriour power problems, but load shedding is not done in stretch of hours

Well, the situation is same in Delhi as well, its not different. When the electricity board is really in good mood, it switches off power in the morning at about 10am or so & it comes back no sooner than 4-5pm. But only for 5-10 minutes, then it goes again & then it doesn’t come back before 9pm.
And Delhi is the capital, so I don’t even want to imagine the situation in other regions!! The main reason for power cuts here is the power theft!! Old DESU employees are there even after it was privatised & everyone knows that these people are rotten to the core, they know about power theft, hell, they allow it themselves & thus the people who pay for the power gets penalised by power cuts & padded bills!! Padded bills you can say because they are now replacing old meters with new ones which run at twice or thrice the speed of the old ones, so if you pay Rs.1000 per bill, you can expect to pay Rs.2000-3000/bill & don’t expect the power situation to improve at all!!!
Otherwise, we just get about 1-2 hour power cuts on an average!!

I AM JUST KIDDING AND HAPPY THAT I AM NOT IN MUMBAI.
BUT IN MONSOON, THERE IS NO POWER ALMOST FOR THE WHOLE DAY IN HAZIRA, SO U CAN IMAGINE WHAT I AM GOING TO GO THRU NEXT 4 MTHS!
