Today it rained for the first time in the Mumbai (there might be couple of times before also but it did not rain in all the parts)

It was real fun to be frank, everyone was so excited and we were desperately waiting for rains….

Everyone was so happy when it rained, I could see smiling and excited faces, children playing in the rain…dancing and having fun….even other people also couldn’t stop themselves from getting wet in the rain….

Many people gathered on terrace of their buildings and having fun…so I too couldn’t stop myself..haha….

Took natural shower for sometime and really enjoyed it…

I hope this rain helps me to wash my past which is not allowing me to live properly for past 4-5 days….

I finished reading the book Web Standards Solutions: The Markup and Style Handbook by Dan Cederholm couple of days back and I must say, it is a very good book for designers, at least for the ones who are not much aware about of beauty of CSS and Web Standards…

I am not a web designer but I always like to try new things. In our office, we are working on adding new micro site, designer made the page design but he didn’t know CSS so I decided to make the layout i.e. from PSD to html / PHP…

I knew bit of CSS so I didn’t have much problems but yes after reading this book it cleared many of my doubts in CSS…

The book explains how to make sites which are very user friendly as well as according to web standards…there are some very good example of CSS provided in the book….it also shows how to make basic layouts using CSS (time to get rid of tables)

So to cover-up…..if you are a web designer and not much aware about CSS then you must buy it…but if you know CSS and want to get into advanced things then this book is not for you……..

My next book will be The Zen of CSS Design : Visual Enlightenment for the Web by Dave Shea, Molly E. Holzschlag

I was really shocked when I checked news channels saying Advani stating Jinnah as secular leader in a speech when he was in Karachi…

His single statement caused kind of big weave in India, VHP leader Togadia made statement in press saying that Advani is a traitor and that caused him to quit his post

I still had doubt in my mind that, leaders like Advani cannot make such silly statement specially but news report from the news channels, news papers made me believe that he was wrong and he made that statement…

But today when I read the whole speech on rediff, I realized that this evil media is behind this…

In his whole speech Advani never made any statement which says Jinnah as secular leader, there was no direct or indirect indication about the same also….
