Too many customer support posts today isn’t it?

Haha yeah, got time after a long time so writing everything together…

Anyways, coming back to the topic….Orange / Hutch customer support, I am really impressed by the way they handle their customers…

Recently, I had refilled by pre-paid card from my ICICI Bank account….I got SMS back saying the card has been refilled but when I checked my balance it showed me the old balance…

I called up their helpline from my cell, she told me that there is some technical problem from their side and it will take approx 2 hours to fix the problem….

I did not say much because they also cannot do much here…

I checked my balance after 1 hour or so and card has been refilled with the amount :)

Within 5-10 minutes after that, I got one SMS asking whether my problem got solved or not, I replied with Yes, I got one more SMS asking how was my experience with XXX person on the phone, good? I have to answer in Yes or NO, so replied with Yes, got one more SMS asking me whether I would like to answer few questions or not, it was very impressive approach to ask customer about the experience with their customer support representative…

I answered few questions, since the number was toll free so I did not have to pay for the SMS :)

But I was really impressed with the way they handle their customers… (for sometime leave that part aside that they charge so high for SMS and roaming calls etc….)

So for customer support they are very good but if you take a look at their charges (roaming, CLIP etc..), they are bad.. :(

Update: Comments close due to many people asking for orange support and ringtones

I had mentioned about their customer support earlier also and this time commenting on the same again…

I am using their Savings and Current account, their online banking service is very good, I have never faced any problems as such…you can call me as one of their Happy Customers…

They have recently introduced Card 2 Card facility for current account holders (it’s been there for few months for savings account holders)

I was eagerly waiting for this service, me too lazy of writing one cheque and going to HSBC drop down center and dropping the cheque…

So I used the Card 2 Card transfer option….I generally transfer the amount 3-4 days before the due date so I did the same this time also…

I checked my online credit card account on HSBC website after 3-4 days and was surprised to see that, they had not received my payment…I was really ashamed because I do not prefer paying the amount after due date, prefer clearing all the amount before the due date…

Another very good company with great customer support…very friendly people and very helping…

Bcentral is the small business central by Microsoft, they provide services like email marketing, search engine optimization, web hosting etc….

We are using their Email Marketing service, List Builder for long time, we renew our package time to time…(There is auto renewal system so we cancel the package when not needed)

Recently when I went to renew our package, I found one serious bug in their system…it was not technical bug but it was kinda logical which allows you to use their service for free all the time ;)

Very Impressive !!!

In our office we use Tally 7.2 and because of some technical problems I had to call Tally Customer Support couple of times and they were able to solve my problems in minutes….

First I had faced problems at the time of upgrading from 6.3 to 7.2, just called them up, had to wait for 20-25 minutes on the phone but finally someone from their side picked up the phone….I heard a very sweet voice from other side and it made remember about ICICI, they have people with very sweet voice but they are never helpful…haha

But I was wrong this time, she asked for few details and then suddenly told me, go to D drive, go to this folder and you will find one file there…just edit it and replace it with this…your tally should work fine now..

To me, these cablewallahs (cable operators) are same as chors (thieves) the only difference is, chors steal your money / stuff when you are not aware about what is happening but cablewallahs do everything openly….

They started charging Rs. 250 a month, government passed rule that cable operators cannot charge more than Rs. 250 a month (I am not sure about the exact amount but it was around that only), then they increased to Rs. 270, people from our society called him up and had a meeting with him….(we have around 17 buildings in our society), after discussions he agreed on the old amount, months passed by, he increased the rates ro Rs. 270 again….

Now just 2 months back, he made it Rs. 310, I got to know about it today only, when mom showed me their new rate card….

This is totally ridiculous, he is charging Rs. 250 in other society and specially for our society he increased the rates…we cannot switch to other operator also because he is the only one providing connection in our area…

So now we are thinking of kicking his ass and getting separate connection without interference of cable operator….

The government was supposed to start Direct to Home option with set top boxes but it is not available in all the areas and because of this people like him are looting us and minting money….
