Old days are back? It was time when Lala Lajpat Rai was the one who was against Simon commission and they used to go to streets with slogans “Simon Wapis Jaao” (Simon Go back) so in today’s world our Mr. Ganguly is trying to act like Lala Lajpat Rai and started Go Chappell Go movement…but the only difference is..Lala Lajpat Rai was fighting for the justice and our modern hero is fighting for nothing…just to get media focus and accomplish his own personal goals…

I wanted to write about this for long time but was not getting enough time but today finally decided to write something so that I can express all my anger in words…

Recently Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly announced in the media that coach Greg Chappell asked him not to play the cricket for a while….and that’s all he wanted….everyone got excited about it….media people started firing questions at Chappell and Ganguly…Chappell wrote letter to BCCI about it, the letter leaked somehow (speculations point to Dalmiya camp for the leak)

Money…that can make person do anything…they are even ready to put-up totally unrelated content on their site for money….I noticed it today the same kind of thing with Directi…

Directi has whole micro site for hotels in India…did you know that? Totally unrelated with their business, domains and hosting….

Check it your yourself…..to me it looks like total spam thing to earn some extra money…

Same applies for their other website webhosting.info, they have created a directory which is full of sponsor links, not even a single genuine link; now these links are related to their new search engine, the links point to affiliate links of search.in…

Damn this is a big mess…and it sucks big time…

Just read about it..Google has started mailing the sites which are considered to be outside the google webmaster guidelines…they have not started mailing all the sites which they come across but soon they may start mailing all the faulty sites…

So if you have site with hidden keywords, spam links then wait for google’s email haha

I bought new server couple of days back (Dual Xeon 2.4 GHz)…and that was only keeping me busy…was busy with configuring it and then shifting all 260 sites on it…I managed to shift all without any downtime but shifting took so much of time and in between that server got locked and was not letting me in…

Basically due to my stupidity only, this happened…I was copying backup files to “/backup” but by mistake few files got copied in “/root” and it became 100%…that’s all it wanted…it kicked me like a football…shadow password file got corrupted and nothing was working….so planet guys logged in locally and fixed it….

So finally everything is up and running…I will be busy for few more days I suppose, tomorrow one more new server is lined up…and then few projects to finish up…..aah..I need 48 hours in a day…

An array of bad things happening with me…after migrating client’s (friend’s) server to new one, everything was working fine…and in the evening of same day I receive a call from friend saying server is down….when I check it, I find that server has been disconnected from data center…no notice..nothing…after calling them we find that..we are frauds now..we used fake credit card…so because of that our server got disconnected…no one is ready to listen to us, we have the proof with us which says transaction was made using our card and it was 101% legal and valid…but now whom to tell….all data is gone, nothing is with us….

Trying here and there to get in touch with the data center people and get the server up again..

This totally sucks….they should have called us or mails us at least so that we could have got chance to speak up and prove our point…

I hope this gets sorted out and we get the server up soon
