They simply rock…I have been hosting with ThePlanet for more than a year now, they have been really helpful when I had issues with remote backups (Disksync) and recently when one of my servers was heating up without any reason…

The server was showing very high load for quite sometime, I had to reboot it more than thrice in 3 days and today it crossed all the limits….5+ load for more than 6 hours and that was making me worry…the worst part was, the server was not allowing me to login through SSH also…

I waited for sometime, nothing happened, I rebooted the server from WHM…and it never came up…I opened ticket in ThePlanet admin panel, they rebooted the server from their side…things were working fine for them…but still I was not able to login through SSH…the machine used to hung when I try to login…I contacted them again…they shut down the machine, checked it personally and got the machine up within 1 hour…

This is not the first time they have been so quick…

When I bought the server their support response time used be bit slow but always with proper solution but now they have improved a lot and have become very quick…

So if you are planning to buy a dedicated server then I would strongly suggest ThePlanet.com

These days contact from hijacking is on run…spammers are using weak contact forms to send spam emails and this makes a server black listed in many sites. The most of the AOL emails are targetted by the spammers.

I came across this when one of my client’s contact form was hijacked and my server IP got black listed. I figured out the problem with the help of Outblaze guys and fixed the issues with the form but that was not the fixed solution to this.

Yup, they do 101%. Totally unfair to people and they do whatever they want. Their load shading is just pain the a** and the worst part is, it happens only in the areas where people pay bills properly, no load shading for people in other areas, say…south Mumbai.

They used to cut power between 8 AM to 9 AM daily but now it goes from 6.30 AM 7.45 AM and 5.15 PM to 6.30 PM…

What do they think of themselves? Are we f****** thugs? Do we run away and don’t pay the bill? As far as I know Mulund is one of the high MSEB bill payers and still we have to face these kind of problems.

Many people have gone against them but no use, they don’t do anything, the power supply is going to cut in the morning and they can’t help it.

I think now people should start slowing down their meters by using magnets or some other ways …..because if these guys don’t understand us then why the fuck we should care about them….Let them face losses.

No power supply here currently, I am sitting here, typing things in MS Word, can’t surf the net, laptop on my lap…doing nothing…this totally sucks and I am sure government is not at all interested in understanding the problems of people, they just need f****** votes nothing else.

I can call myself Sony man now…haha First Sony Vaio then I got Sony Digital Camera and now Sony Ericsson W550i :)

I must say, it is a great sexy phone with superb sound quality…and with help of Jayant, I managed to find way to lock keypad, click a pic and couple of more things… lol

The decision to buy the phone was kinda super quick..I was talking to my friend about cell phones..he said…w550i costs around 15.5K (INR) now…I was like, cool..that’s great…then let’s check it out in the shop and see how does it look in real…and on the way…I somehow decided to buy it…I didn’t have that much cash in my hand…so I wanted to buy it using my credit card but the shop guy was asking for 2% more so then I decided to get some money from my friend’s account lol…he gave me his card, took money outa’ ATM and that’s how I got the cell :D
