I have been using MTNL triband for more than a month now and yes I can include myself in one of their happy customers :)

The speeds are very good, there is no downtime at all..till now I have not seen my net connection going down…(apart from daily disconnection at 11.54 in the night..I think it’s for NU plan…)

They have plans ranging from Rs. 199 (400 MB - 256 kbps) to Rs. 9,999 (18 GB - 2mbps) a month

The plans are very good value to money and you get what you pay for..not like local cable operators who charge more and give less…

Let me move on to everything step by step:

Requirements: You need a MTNL telephone line, machine with at least Windows 98 installed (of course you can use it on Linux or other OS too but they won’t be able to help you with that), Ethernet Card

  1. Registration Process: The registration process is very easy, you have to visit their telephone exchange, fill small form and submit it. The registration fees are Rs. 300 and Rs. 500 initial deposit for modem (if you are going to use their modem). If you have your own modem then you do not need to pay Rs. 500 extra. These charges will be added in your telephone bill. You can also register by calling them on their helpline number 1500 (Mumbai) but there is kind of risk in that, they might put wrong plan under your telephone number. It had happened to me, instead of NU plan, they had put me in pay as per use plan. (I will talk about it more later in this post)
  2. Time Required: They require around 1 week of time to get the things rolling but if it takes more than a week then it means that the time has come to visit telephone exchange and enquire about it. Reasons for delay can be problems with local server computer, issues with work orders etc…But visiting them personally will solve the issues quickly.
  3. Installation: Their person will call you before visiting your place, there is nothing much to install actually. You just need to change your IP settings and configure the modem with your username and password. The guy will configure the stuff for you and the things should start running in 10 minutes max.
  4. Things to be taken care of: First change your modem admin panel’s password. The admin panel is located here: http://192.168.1.1/ (that’s the default location)…the default username and password will be admin and admin. Now since it is very easy to guess so it is better to change it….to change the password, logon to the admin panel, click on tools tab and type in the new password.
  5. Troubleshooting: There is generally no problem with the net connection and you do not need to contact triband support…but if you are contacting them for some technical problem then do not expect them to solve your problem…you won’t find technically sound people, (of course they will be able to fix very basic problems) they will just have answers ready on their screen so if they see something which is not in their answer sheet then…they will give you complaint number and then be ready to follow it…you might need to visit the telephone exchange if they don’t reply in couple of days :D or the best way would be, use google for technical errors you get, its very easy to trace out the problems :)
  6. Customer Support: The people at MTNL (telephone exchange as well as on phone) are very polite and helpful but the only thing they lack is resources, they are ready to help you with their best but they don’t have enough resources, answers ready to help…The other part is, they do not have enough customer support executives (which again comes under resources but worth mentioning it again)…now you will get idea about it when you call them…when you dial 1500 or 1504, you will have option to dial 1 for Marathi, 2 for Hindi and 3 for English…whatever number you press the answer will be in Hindi or Marathi…so this shows that they really need some English speaking and technically sound people…

Here is my short story about their customer support:

I applied for Triband NU plan over the phone, I got confirmation with the registration number…I waited for a week or so, still no one has visited my place for installation, I called them up on their helpline, I was asked to confirm it with the telephone exchange people…I visited telephone exchange…enquire about the net connection….lady at the helpdesk wrote something on the paper and asked me to meet someone inside the office…I managed to find that person after asking few people…I gave her details about my registration…she told me, due to some server issues the person couldn’t come to my place but he will be there after 2 days…and dot after 2 days person came to my place and setup the net :)

So that part was over, I was very happy with the connection and was waiting to test out download speeds in the night…started the download…was getting around 25-27kbps on torrent downloads…I checked my online usage on their site…and was bit shocked to see the different name in the plan…I had applied for NU plan and it showed me TRIB_AA which is pay as per use plan…I called their helpline at 1.30 AM, I was not expecting anyone to pickup the phone but a lady picked up the phone, I told her about it, she also confirmed that its TRIB_AA, they have not given me NU plan…she asked me to call 1500 and get it changed…I called the other number…it was ringing…so I called in the morning and was asked to visit telephone exchange…I visited telephone exchange, the lady at the helpdesk asked me to meet some person inside (the same person I had met last time), I met her and gave the details…she looked in her files and told me that 1500 people told us to give TRIB_AA plan so we gave you the same…so…what next? She asked me to visit helpdesk and fill the form to change the plan, I did that…I got some receipt…and was told that it will be done within a day….I waited for 2 days…nothing happened…I visited their office again…I was told that someone did not close my earlier support ticket so it will be done once this ticket is closed by 1500 people…I asked her to do something and get it done…she called some person…and closed the support ticket and gave me new work order number….and told me that it will be done in a 2-3 days as the computer of the person who manages this was not working…..

I waited for 2 days, nothing happened, I called directly to the person whom I had met earlier (in the office)…I gave her my work order number and asked to check the status…she told me, she has not received work order from helpdesk and she will try to get it today and it will be done in 2 days…

Today, her last day of her “2 days”….

So I hope the plan gets changed by tonight…

Update - 12th Nov.: They deleted my account by mistake and it will be activated on monday….

Update 2 - 12th Nov.: My net is back….and now it shows me NU Plan :)

So this whole incident proves that, they lack proper customer support system, customers have to meet people who are in the testing room and get the things done, there is more of paper work than computerized things…so this leads to slow implementation of things…so being helpful and polite does not help, the people should be active and quick at the same time…..

So, to end the review….Pros include:

  • Very flexible plans for everyone
  • Less installation and registration charges
  • Very good speeds
  • Reasonable rates compared to other ISPs like TATA, Sify etc..
  • No downtime or very less downtime
  • Customer Support - very helpful people and very polite

Cons include:

  • Takes time to fix the problem
  • Lacks proper support system to solve user problems
  • Customers still have to visit the telephone exchange to fix certain problems…it should be made online and with ease

I think above points should be enough to point out pros and cons of the MTNL Triband..

I hope you guys like it :)

Update: Don’t forget to read my bad experience with MTNL Guys

  5. Hey Deep,
I have heard that because of the always on connection, the modem keeps on sending packets to the MTNL server, just to ensure that the connection is kept alive. These packets are also included in the CHARGEABLE per Kb download that is billed. Is it true ????

  6. Deep says
    12-Nov-2005 at 9:07 pm
  7. Hi Vidyadhar,

I do not think it sends packets to check the status of net connection, because it does not need to. But the firewall, antivirus or some software might check it.

    Deep

  9. Hi Deep,

I just wanted to know how much of data would be transferred (considered downloaded) while talking on chat clients like GogleTalk for one continous minute?

  11. Hi Ashish,
Since it is audio chat so it should download / transfer around 1 MB per minute or more. But this is totally rough figure because it is not possible to find out exact download amount per application.

  13. Hi Deep,

Must commend you on your reviewing skills. You could take up writing as a profession if you wanted.
I too have an MTNL connection which I have taken up after trying out the local cable guy for quite some time. Certainly cheaper and more reliable than the earlier option.
I have just come across a problem. Drawing near the end of the month, assuming I have a lot of download limit left, I decided to start the download of an entire movie (in XVID format). Just to be sure that I won’t exceed the limit by too much I tried to check the usage so far. Sadly, I just can’t login. Clicking on the forgot password link, I entered my phone number which is the default username. Surprisingly, the page gives Invalid Login ID defying all logic. The helpline just doesn’t understand my problem. Can you suggest a way out?

  15. Hi Pankaj,
Glad to hear that you liked the review :)
In your case, the ID has been deleted by them by mistake. This generally happens when you apply for plan change and by mistake they make this mistake somtimes. The same thing had happened with me too.

All you have to do is, call 1504 and tell them that the ID has been deleted by them…so they will report the same to their engineer and then will fix it in a day or two.

Still if it does not work then you can get in touch with the local exchange guys, they will surely fix it.

    I hope this helps you.

    Regards,
    Deep

  19. Hi Shailesh,
To check the usage, visit: http://register.mtnl.net.in/ (click on Account Summary)

To check speed, download some file from download.com, if the avg speed is around 25-30 then its good enough :)

as the speed mentioned is 256 kps !!!
    is the connection shared ?

  22. Deep says
    25-Nov-2005 at 3:44 pm
  23. Hi,

    I meant 25 - 30 KBps (kilo bytes)
The speed you get is 256kbps (kilo bits)

    KB = kb / 8
    256 / 8 = 32

So you get around 25-30 KBps

    Regards,
    Deep

  27. Hi,
DLink modem should cost around 3.5 to 4K.

I prefer using MTNL’s modem coz you get kind of life time warranty with it…u just have to pay Rs. 80 a month where if you have your own modem then you need to pay 4K at one time + if something goes wrong after 1 year (i.e. warranty period) then you need to shell out money from your pokcet for exp.

  31. hmm if your usage is high then NU plan is best, I am on NU plan, I keep movie for download at 12 and when I wakeup at 8, movie is downloaded :D (700 mb one)

So thats the best plan for downloaders :)

  35. Hi,
Yes whatever you view on the net will be counted as download as it is getting downloaded on your PC first.

I would suggest going for 400MB plan which cots Rs. 199 coz in the unilimited plan, you will get 199MB for Rs. 199 but in this you get double of it..

  37. hi,
my account summary says DSL_TRIB_59NU as the plan. we had gone for the combo plan. Is this plan night unlimited?

One more thing, at download.com the speed shown is arnd 13-14.On kaaza the speed is only arnd 1-1.5. i guess the 13-14 speed itself is not very good, for the 256kbps plan. Am i right?
what do i do abt the low speed?
    Thanks

  38. Deep says
    11-Dec-2005 at 12:54 pm
  39. Hi Simran,
NU plan is unlimited in the night i.e. from 12 to 8 AM.

The speeds should be around 25-30 kbps…

You can download some test application from any site..say for example download Winzip from http://www.winzip.com and you will notice the good speed.

On Kazaa, the speed depends upon the connection of other connected users, so you do not get maximum speed many times.

I am also using NU plan and I get around 27-28kbps download speeds.

  43. Hi,
Yes it will be included in downloads. I would suggest that you should start with DSL 399 plan which will give u 700 MB for Rs. 400 + modem charges

If the usage is more than that then you can shift to higher usage plans..

  49. hello,
good posting.. i’m trying to help my Mom in delhi setup her MTNL broadband connected, supposedly rated at 256kbps.

we tried some voice-chat apps, and the results are still pretty slow.. lot of clipping.

I tried measuring her download speed using http://performance.toast.net/ and i get under 100kbps.

Could some of you try this site and post your upload / download speed results?

  51. How do I configure Triband with Mandrake 10.1? I’ve selected DHCP as my DSL mode and entered the host name as 192.168.1.1

I’ve almost given up. The funny thing is that I can access mozilla.org and rediff.com and a few other sites, but no yahoo, google etc. It’s very frustrating.

    Thanks

  53. I would suggest using static IP instead of DHCP…there is nothing wrong in it but satic is a good option if you have only 1 machine…

Put your machine IP as 192.168.1.2
    Put gateway IP as 192.168.1.1

For DNS if you are in mumbai then you can use:

    203.94.227.70 and 203.94.243.70

Keeping host name as 192.168.1.1 wont help because it is just a name you have to provide that IP in gateway IP.

Anil - To access the machine from outside 1st Method is using Static IP (you can ask MTNL to give one) and 2nd would be using service called Dynamic DNS check more info on it here

Aneesh - Thanks for the compliment :) Wish you a great year too..

  100. those who plans to use MTNL broadband (triband) internet service, i would like to warn them against misuse of your connection by third party with the help of MTNL employees. The line can be tapped and any one can use your broad band connection by using one ADSL modem (ofcourse with the help of MTNL emplyee). As happened with me. 3 months back i took triband connection at thane and got huge bill and when i checked the usage on their web site mumbai.mtnl.net.in , i found triband usage even when we were out of city. MTNL triband connection is not SECURE at all, PLEASE NOTE.

Priyank - You will have to use the modem provided by MTNL or if your modem is in the list of modems they support then you can use your current one. For list of modems they support, visit local telephone exchange and enquire.

  114. I was looking for an opinion on triband and was very pleased to find your review. Thanks.

I have Sify connnection. I have to setup a site to site VPN connection with my office in UK. They will be fetching data from my server twice/thrice a week. Will MTNL connection suffice? Which plan should i opt for? is static ip available with the plan or has to be seperately purchased?

  116. Hi Santosh,
They have 1mbps line which costs around Rs.7000 per month..so that should more than enough for VPN…

For static IP, you will have to specifically tell them about it to provide you the static IP..

My query is regarding the problem with the vsnl mail account i have used for many years. With my mtnl broadband connection i can still download mail from vsnl using Outlook, but sending mail is not allowed. My biggest problem is when i’m trying to reply to a mail to my vsnl account- as soon as i send mail( i have set mtnl smtp even in my vsnl account detail, though have set mtnl as my default e-mail account in the outlook settings), i get a mail from ‘System Administrator’ sayoing ‘Undeliverable mail’ ….blh blah blah… relaying denied” Is there any trick up your sleeve to bypass this problem?

  132. Hi Deep, can u solve this one? I had joined the triband bandwagon about 3 months ago..was very happy, excellent speed and all.
Lately, i have had rpted disconnections. The connection simply disconnects, the ADSL LED starts blinking and goes off and then blinks agin and reconnects and after a few minutes the same happens.
I contacted the MTNL staff, they tried to help, but they hardly know a thing about what should be the problem. The usual questions about whther i have a parellel line, any problemetic softwares etc were all answered in negative and then one guy told me to blow air at the wire end to remove the dust!!!! …Now i am a doctor and don’t know much abt computers but this was absurd!!
After a few days a local exchange engineer came and tinkering a bit here and there could not really understand anything and changed the modem and splitter, but the end result is still the same. he asked me to call him back if there’s a problem but i really think it would a waste of time..Do u have any suggestions?
    BTW gr8 forum..

  133. Deep says
    18-Feb-2006 at 2:02 am
  134. Haresh - thats where MTNL lacks and are very poor..but once the connection is on…there are generally no problems at all..the only solution for your issue is to visit the exchange and get in touch with the guys who are into testing room for broadband / triband..

Doctor Saab :) - I guess this must be happening because of issues with the local server or something…but still just check this setting…in your router’s admin panel..go to Advanced then click on button PPP from left…and then on that page..just see whats selected under “Connection Setting”, it should be Always ON…if not then please select that and save changes and reboot (Tools - System - Save and Reboot)

Check and see if it helps or not..otherwise you may have to do bit difficult job i.e. upgrading firmware..just follow above instruction and reply here with the update…

I called up 1504 and they said with the new modem they have decided to withhold the access to router page so that ppl cannot change the settings. So if i have to change any settings i would have to go through the local exchange engineer again…aaaargh…this is so frustating…I told them about the problem and they promised to look into it again..meanwhile i will have to bear with these frequent disconnections :(

i got speed between 220-230 kbps which is nice.

  154. Hi,

    I am no tech geek, but I have sound knowledge of IT systems . Having established my credentials I can say that The MTNL Triband is a good deal and here is my experience with the same;

    1. With load shedding, other (non MTNL) service providers have a power issue. So even if the power is up in your location, the net would be down since one of their feeder routers is at a location which is out of power. In case of MTNL, this problem does not exist. So your net is up when you ahve power at your place
    2. I was told clearly by MTNL Vashi guys that the ADSL splitters are out of stock and provided I get the Splitter/router myself, the coneection given could be instant. And so it was, I got the splitter from DLink, next day the net was up
    3. MTNL speeds are very good and can be validated
    4. I am still to receive my first bill under the Combo plan (Rs 500). Will give my feedback with a financial perspective in days to come

You can leave your inputs at http://maxsonlewis.4t.com

I think it wont allow since its a modem not router..what you can do it..get a wireless D Link router..which costs approx 2500…

Connect router to the modem and then connect PC to router and then laptop net will run on wireless line..or you can even connect the wire…it will have approx 4 ports…

  219. hi deep

i have opted for mnl triband’s monthly 400mb limited download plan. as of now i have downloaded almost more than 100 mb of data
but my mtnl’s account summary shows only 45mb download.
i had used bitcomet and torrentspy to dowload this. will downloading data using bitcomet wont be counted in my account ?
so can i download data beyond 400mb limit free of cost using bitcomet and torrentspy?

  223. hey guys.. im having MAJOR problems with my TriBand connection. First of all, the USB drivers for this D-link 502T modem are pathetic. The modem freezes after maximum 2hours and has to be rebooted to resume normal activity. I’m having real problems recieving incoming connections. I can’t host games on online servers because others aren’t being permitted to join. Even BitTorrent is giving me major problems. I had sorted it out earlier, everything was fine, but then i didnt download much for a few months seeing as i had exams and things, now no matter WHAT i try. USB, ethernet, whatever, nothing at all seems to work. Any help? and if anybody knows an MTNL network engineer or any decent engineer who understands game servers and things, could i please have their contact? this is frustrating the life outta me,

  224. azeem says

  225. also, none of my local MTNL “engineers” are of any help because they’re simply telephone linesmen who have been taught to use a mouse and keyboard. PLEASE….. HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  227. I am in Delhi. When it works it works a good speed. But, it keeps on disconnecting every 1-5 minutes. Is there a solution to this? This is a real pain when using instant messenger and ssh/putty. You won’t notice during normal web surfing. Anybody has faced any such problems and any suggested fix.

  229. anurag, you need to get ur telephone line checked, or maybe a cordless phone is interfering. if theres any disturbance in the line connected to the router, there would be a problem. if its a problem with the cordless phone you need a splitter

  237. Hi deep,
After a long and harrowing time, my triband has started working neatly, it seems there were 2 problems.
    1. There was a wiring problem, corrected by the linesman only after i promised him his ‘Diwali’ bakshish.
    2. In the network settings-> enable DNS, i had to change the host to my telephone number and the domain to mtnl.net.in
And VOILA..everything is hunky dory again.
I am actually thinking of changing my os from 98 to XP would i have to go through hell changing my network settings again?

Secondly when i change my ip in the 192.168. range it works (not all ips but sum do nevertheless)but when i change it in the range of my actual ip which is 59.184.*.* range its never possible

  242. Deep says
    17-Apr-2006 at 9:44 am
  243. 192.168.*.* is private IP not public, when u r changing ip to 59.184.*.* it does not work because this range is automatically assigned to your modem / router and it will have public IP…

Man you are doing this great selfless service, Thanks a ton for your relentless zeal. I read your review & opted for Rs.199 plan, 10hrs Unlimited. withing 2 days I am exhausted of those 10 hrs. Can you pls enlighten us on the NU plan & a plan which should not exceed a total of Rs.600 p.m. Your advice will be of immense help to me. Also so far I had verrrry good experience. The connection was given to me in 5 days, the UTSTAR router or modem (God knows what it is) supplied is brand new. These folks use CA number as the password & myself being working on midrange servers for quite a long time could not but agree on assigning such obvious password. But this password change stuck my connection twice , but these 3rd party guys assigned by MTNL served me perfect & with 5 calls landing at my place immed. after my complaint. I would not blame MTNL at all, they do lack in expertise but their efforts are commendable. I really doubt if my bill will be accurate , their system is such vulnerable I dread to get a huge bill at the end of the month. Fingers crossed. Anyway pls suggest a good plan for a charge of 600 Rs/pm

Thanks a ton… Keep up the good work.

  355. Hello
I have an MTNL Tri Band since the last 2 yrs.
    Par Excellence performance !!

Problem: I have taken a static IP 59.x.x.x 2 days back, but I HAVE TO put 192.168.1.2 as the IP of my NIC.
    And ipconfig shows 192.168.1.2.
[Yes, I can surf and do everything !!]

How can I by-pass this and get the actual live IP in ipconfig?
Also I am unable to connect to my IP from outside ?

ARE YOU THE ONE WHO HAVE SUFFERED AFTER TAKING THE MTNL TRIBAND CONNECTION?

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO GOT BETTER SERVICE WHILE SURRENDING THE TRIBAND ROUTER? BUT DIDN’T GET MONEY BACK WHEN THE PRODUCT DIDN’T WORK WELL?

HERE HOW MTNL IS WORKING FOR CUSTOMERS…

AT MANY PLACES IN MUMBAI & NAVI MUMBAI AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF MTNL TRI BAND IS DONE STILL TRI BAND IS NOT WORKING WELL.

THE ROUTER SHOW’S ONLINE INTERNET ACTIVITY BUT YOU CAN NOT SURF INTERNET.

WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS CALLING MTNL FOR SUPPORT, AFTER FEW HRS THE LINE MAN AND SUPPORT PERSON FOR TRI BAND COMES TO MEET YOU.

IF THE INTERNET WILL NOT WORK, THE SUPPORT PERSON SUGGESTS YOU TO GO FOR A NEW TELEPHONE LINE FOR TRIBAND.
IF STILL PROBLEM COMES AGAIN AFTER SOME DAYS AT CUSTOMER END THEY GIVE A COMMITMENT TO REPLACE THE HARDWARE OF TRIBAND.

IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED ROUTER IN HUB OR SWITCH STILL MANY PC USERS WHO USING INTERNET… THAT GETS STOP AUTOMATICALLY.
ONLY FEW PC WILL GET INTERNAL PROXY SHARING WHICH MTNL’S ROUTER SUPPORTS. MTNL CANT MAKE OUT WHY THESE THINGS ARE GOING ON…

PROBLEM COMES WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS SURRENDING THE UNIT BECAUSE THE PRODUCT WAS NOT WORKING WELL, STILL MTNL DOES NOT REFUND MONEY.
IS THAT FARE FOR USERS WHO TRUSTED MTNL?

THERE ARE SO MANY PROBLEMS WHICH WE DIDN’T GET TO KNOW BUT AFTER ONE YEAR ALSO WHY TRIBAND IS NOT STABLE EVERY PLACE?
AND WHY THEY DON’T REFUND MONEY IF THE COMPLAINTS ARE GIVEN BY CUSTOMER OF MTNL?

I BEALIVE THAT THE PRIVATE COMPANYS ARE GIVING GOOD SERVICE AND OFFERS STILL CUSTOMER LEAVES THEM JUST BECAUSE OF THE GOVERMENTS TRUST. THEN HOW COME THINGS ARE NOT WORKING WELL TILL NOW?

  371. The speeds are very good, but compare to hathway more mb used some time i chak two mail then used 15mb? it is not possible because i was using hathway from 5 years.
The price for 1gb must be Rs.400 cause in private cable 1.5
    Gb in Rs.500
It is sure that automatic (more)mb used in short of time. Some people don’t care 4 this because they have no idea about it.

  377. I have subscribed to Plan 199 of broadband connection. There is a serious problem with the connection from day one.. Even when there is no Explorer window open and no activity is being undertaken by me, the router keeps sending bytes. Because of this, my account of 400 MB download has already got depleted by about 120 MBs in just a few hours though I have visited only a few sites. The ADSL
light of the D-Link router keeps blinking continuously while it is suppoosed to remain steady. At present, to prevent depletion of my account, I have to keep the power supply to the Router off.
Please help. Do I have to chnge some setting on my computer. I use Windows XP.

  381. This happens when you have auto update services enabled in your windows, anti virus, firewall etc…

Just disable Auto Update in windows by following these steps:

My computer - Properties - Automatic Updates tab - Choose option Notify me but don’t automatically download or install them

This will prevent windows xp to download updates automatically….

  383. Hi Deep
Great aspects u hv here. I was taking mtnl triband connection for my home and am confused by reading all comments here regd services - problems etc . Shd I go for 256 speed or 512 speed plan , will i get the speed of 512 - which modem will be most suitable for same ? Dlink-india has lot of differenct modems and instead of DSL-502T they now hv GLB-502T adsl 2+. Is this ok for 512 speed ? Mtnl is saying they are out of stock of modems.

    Thanks

  385. Hi,
These are DLS modems so speed won’t be any issue like dialup modems…you will get full speed all the time.

I will suggest, confirm the model number with MTNL once before buying it, in the end, the modem should be compatible with MTNL..

    Regards,
    Deep

  391. HI Deep,

Thanks a lot fot the tip given about stopping automatic updates. It has really helped in solving the problem.

I wonder, without people like you, what will happen to novices like me. All complaints to MTNL were of hardly any use, though they did sent someone to me when the problem had already been solved.

    Thanks a lot again.

  399. Hi,

Do you know if I’ll be able to setup a home network using a PC and a Mac OS X on MTNL? Do they provide a router or I’ll have to buy one?

I’m moving to India in a week and I need a really good ISP. Man, MTNL prices suck! They’re too exorbitant, plus they don’t provide you a ‘real broadband experience’. Like here I pay only $25/month for an unlimited download, no-time limits 3 MBPS connection. And just look at what MTNL offers!! Do you have any other alternate suggestion besides MTNL in Delhi?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Gaurav

You can configure this GLB-502T for MTNL broadband by doing following :-

Step 1 : Log into the web configuration of the router by typing the IP address http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. A prompt for user name and password should appear. Type ‘admin’ as username and password both and click on login.

Step 2 : Click on setup and then New Connection tab. Configure the modem a
