How do you feel when the server starts showing up these errors every second and keeps on adding core dumps in the root directory of your site? Ask me!!! It took bloody more than 3 hours to trace this issue. The only option I had was, search, search and keep on searching.

Google showed me various things like memory leak to PHP bug, vbulletin showed me same kind of stuff. Reinstalling PHP couple of times did not help. Disabling APC also did not help. (But yes, it was also causing issue on this dual core machine)

Cpanel forums gave me some kind of hope finally, the issue was with Zend Optimizer version 3.0, I quickly disabled it and the problems gone!!!

So if you are also facing this kind of issue on your RHEL 4, just check if you have Zend Optimizer 3.0 is enabled or not.

I had lot of expectations from this movie, infact I have never been so excited about any movie. Last Sunday, first thing I did was, book this movie’s tickets.

Let me not tell everything in first few lines….

Okay, so the movie is about Krrish, Krishna Mehra (Hritik Roshan) son of Rohit Mehra, who has special powers like his dad but her grand mother does not want the world to see Krishna’s special powers, she did not want her grand son to die like his son and daughter in law. (Yes, they both are shown dead in the movie) Then, Priya (Priyanka Chopra) enters the movie, Krishna falls in love with Priya, they play around here and there, finally Priya leaves for her hometown Singapore. She works there as news reporter and our Mr. Hero reaches there (Priya calls him in there to meet her mom for the marriage proposal, but the real reason for calling him is, to save her job)

Krishna does some good human being job in Singapore and becomes Krrish (saves life of people and all that stuff), now here comes Dr. Arya in the picture, the person who had hired Rohit Mehra to make a computer which can predict the future but Rohit dies in an accident and his dream to make that computer also dies. But he still manages to develop a computer with the research work of Rohit. But the intentions of that guy were not good….

I LOVE DIYA, I Love Diya and I Love Diya….she was just too good… (not talking about the acting part), just love her…

Now, the movie…

Concept of the movie is pretty different but they somehow managed to screw it up and make everything a good mess..the movie is about a miracle person Tejas (Akshay Kapoor) who is kind of gift of god and has some powers which makes him special…and rest of the things are common and very expected….some magical expected moments, love story, villain and climax (which was very very weak)

Like always, I will let Sarita Tanwar handle the storytelling part:

The film begins with cops investigating a death in a house located in a remote area. Among other things, they discover a young guy Tejas (Akshay Kapoor) in the cellar.

He’s never been out of the house, or in direct light ever since he was a kid because he has a condition that blinds him in harsh daylight.

After an incident as a kid when he nearly kills someone electrocuting him by simply touching him, his father decides to keep him locked up in the house for good. But after the death of the father, he has no choice but to face reality and the world.

The cops hand him over to an institution where Tejas encounters Purva (Dia Mirza) whose father runs the place. There, he discovers life in the true sense other kids rag him, he’s mocked at and he’s singled out just because he’s different.

Purva realises that Tejas has a special gift and falls in love with him. But life takes a turn again for Tejas after he cures Purva’s mother and he is kidnapped by an evil scientist Dyer (Tom Alter) who wants to use him for experiments.

The movie does not give you somehting new, you get to see same old things which you see in all “super power” movies…they also tried to show the love story between Diya Mirza and Akshay Kapoor but they failed miserably in it…

Ok, let’s sum it up…

Acting - Akshay Kapoor, he was good but could have done better…Diya Mirza, nothing much to do….rest of the actors, worst was the person who played Diya Mirza’s dad….

Music - The title song was good, I really liked it…there was one more good song in it (some dance number, which the actor imagines), rest of the songs were piece of ****

So, stars? 1.5 out of 5

Don’t do the hard work of going to the theatre, wait for some TV channel to show it….

2 Movies back to back….MI3 and Phir Hera Pheri….crazy but it was fun…MI3 was a great movie but the person sitting next to me made it a comedy movie by laughing loudly on action scenes….damn, how can people be so stupid? If bomb blasts, that guy laughs…sucks…

Okay, back to my review…

Phir Hera Pheri…..I was quite excited about this movie, I had really enjoyed the first part of the movie, i.e. Hera Pheri, so expectations were high and I was totally prepared to laugh out loud….

There is nothing much in the story, 3 guys doing everything to earn more money and falls into the trap and they try everything to return money to the goons…and the fun starts….

The movie is totally mindless comedy, so you will have to keep the brains at home and just enjoy…

Not much to write about it, so let me just wrap it up….

Acting: All 3, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal rocked….Rajpal Yadav was good, Johny Lever had little to do…Sunil Pal is totally wasted….Bipasa Basu and Rimi Sen too had nothing much to do…rest of them were good…

Story: Not so strong story but who the hell needs story anyways ;)

Music: Only 2 songs were ok, rest were piece of crap…

So stars? 3 stars out of 5

Remember, it is mindless comedy, totally mindless
