Okay, I am pretty late here, I visited this place 2 days back and due to my laziness I could not post about it and now the bad part is, this is gonna be one of the quickest post ever. I have to leave for the train to Mumbai at 8 so not much time in hand. Ok! Let me start,

I was very much excited about this place to as it had few things attached to it which is just out of imagination of normal person. Daily at 11 AM and 5 PM, a pujari (priest) from the temple at Karo Dungar keeps some food at the rock nearby and rings the bell (Ghant), the foxes come to eat the food. The good part is, the foxes eat only veg food served by them. (The same thing was shown on Star One’s show Mano ya na Mano) but due to heavy rains we missed that part. But we really had fun there and also on the way.

We had some “good” coffee on the way….we also got drenched at Karo Dungar, the place was like some hill station…fog everywhere, very cold climate and raining hard….it was simply fun…

Well, pretty simple, go to Matoshree, Dadar (or any of the Shiv Sena office), desecrate one of the statues, and you are done.

This is what happened today in Mumbai. Few people desecrated the statue of Bal Thakrey’s wife and that’s it. Shiv Sena got chance to show their power, dada giri, anger or whatever you name it. Burnt the tourist bus, stone pelting, forcing shopkeepers to shut their shops, breaking glasses of the busses and what more you want to shut the whole Mumbai?

I totally agree that whatever was done to Bal Thakrey’s wife’s statue was wrong but the way they were protesting against it was totally wrong and the police were watching as mute spectators.

And apart from that, Shiv Sena was hinting to some non-hindu (read as Muslim) leader doing it and they were blaming the government for this and they wanted government to apologize for the same, lol what would government do if someone plays around in YOUR house, it is your responsibility to take care of your stuff not government’s but they always wanted to make some issue of such a small thing. I afraid that these people will ever going to change and I am also afraid that I will ever vote for them.

As mentioned in my earlier posts / comments, I was pretty much excited about this place and I must say, if you are going to Kutch, then you should not miss out this great place.

The place was just amazing, many things will keep you wonder that “how did they manage to do so much advanced things 5,000 years back? The drainage system was just too good.

Let me give some details about whole thing…

We started our journey at 6.30 AM from Anjar. It is approximate 4-5 hours of journey by car. Our first stop was at some place on the highway, where we had good breakfast. Jalebi Gathiya (Gujarati break fast) This time I did not miss to click the photo and make you guys bit jealous :P haha

Well, things didn’t turn out as expected. I was expecting the climate to be cool in the evenings and nights but it did not. Currently it is 1.51 AM I am 2 fans are on, one on the roof, another one next to me, table fan but still I am kind of sweating.

Today I had gone to a place called Dudhai with my cousin, a very small village; we had gone there for some ritual work. We left our home at 5.30 PM and we were literally getting heated up by the wind, just too hot. I wash my face, stand outside for sometime and I start sweating up. I seriously do not understand why these people don’t use ACs. May be just because they are used to this kind of heat but I am certainly NOT.

No signs of rain at all it had shown signs of rains around 4 AM in the early morning yesterday but drizzling stopped within few minutes.

So from last 2 days we are having Golas (Ice Cady) daily. We get very good special type of Golas here. (Dry Fruit, Ice Cream gola) I have clicked some pics too, to make you guys jealous but my bad luck is that, I left the USB cable in the living room and everyone is sleeping there. I will post the picture on Monday :D

There is nothing much to write today but there will be more tomorrow. We are going to a place called Dholavira tomorrow. Will click some great pics, hopefully. The desert on the way is known as danger area, totally white sand and it is India’s biggest desert. Will give more details as I come across it.
