This must be common question between Allwin, Aseem, Brajeshwar and Megha. They were posting the comments here but my blog was not displaying them. So what was wrong? I had Akismet disabled too.
Well, there is some kind of bug in WP or Akismet which flags some comments as spam, i.e. even after Akismet is set to disabled mode. Due to this, it does not show these comments in the WP Admin area too. So today I checked it in PHPMyAdmin and found about those comments flagged as spam. So, after enabling the Akismet, I could see all those comments waiting for moderation under Akismet’s moderation queue. Marked them as non-spam and now I can view those comments.
Sorry for the mess up guys, sometimes it takes time to understand these kind of problems.

Haha.. yea I posted a couple of comments and all disappeared. And I was left wondering if I was so very bad at ‘math’! Lol! Good to knw it was some other problem :).

Some of the comments are still flagged as Spam but now the difference is, I could see them and de-spam them. Earlier it was not showing them. It was directly going to DB with flag as spam.

Yeah… I faced the same problem here (on most of the other sites too).
The thing is Amisket has blacklist BSNL’s IPs, so anyone who comments from BSNL Connection (Dataone) will be marked as a spammer.
I tried to contact Automattic over this issue, but it looks like they aren’t interested in solving it.
70% of Indians use BSNL, So are we spammers ?

Now I can get it.
Since many days I have been posting my comments and I dont see my comments here but others so active.
I thought those comments would have had gone for moderation.
Still on many threads I found no sign.
Finally, if not me then you got the bug

yeh sab to thik hai , but still its all same thing … i m sure even this comment will be flaged .. caause an hour ago i had commented in one of your post and it got flaged ..
