[...] Whether Rahul is guilty or not! What could be the reasons behind Shweta’s denial of the labeled accusation on her husband - these questions will remain un-answered atleast till the people involved decide to come clean or open up. But what I find even more shocking is the fact that no one in the media (besides a few bloggers) haven bothered to question Vitusha’s morality here. I mean surely (if the information is correct) Shweta must have had detailed discussions about her marital problems with the concerned writer, purely on the basis on ‘trusting a friend’. We all at one point or the other rely on her friends for support, advice and at times as a shoulder to cry on - but in Shweta’s tragic story, her friend traded in her personal grief for few glory moments and recognition. It wouldn’t be wrong to assume that Ms. Oberoi was in it for satisfying her own aspirations, once the distressed woman (and her mother) called upon her friend for some advice and help - keeping their intimate conversation recorded on tape simply sets Vitusha’s intentions clear as crystal. Plus when Shweta refuted the published story instead of understanding a friend’s miserable plight, Vitusha Oberoi was busy giving television interviews, writing more articles on the same; all an attempt to prove herself and her written work. One can only imagine Shweta’s mental state, not only has she being ill-treated by her so called soul-mate but also has her trust be thrashed apart by the person she considered her confidant. And to top things up, her personal life has become a public debate and tea-time conversation. Taking ones job seriously is understandable but to stoop so low and indulge in cheap tactics, just for some short-lived success is just appalling and sick - People like Vitusha Oberoi only further degrade the profession of journalism. In short, Journalism has become nothing but a sort of dhanda with no ounce of soul or integrity. Ms. Vitusha’s tactics also raises another important question - Can Journalists ever be trusted?
Its really an issue of your relation with the person. Not everyone would dare to do that. And you don't tell your personal things to just anyone, its very personal and only very close people are told such things. In this case maybe the reporter friend did it for her/his career progress, and for him/her the career held higher importance than anything. And Shweta really didn't judge the trustiness of the person. So its all down to the mutual understanding and relation between the two. As for Rahul & Shweta, its common among couples to have an issue over things, better now let things get out of hands and sort out, and ofcourse you don't want your life to be made a public topic. Which again reminds me...doesn't Indian Media have anything else to talk about? I mean c'mon man this is ridiculous, you're talking about a couple's private life in public??? Pathetic indeed.
