There is a trend in the Indian film industry to have a tag line for movie title but this movie somehow missed it, so I decided to give it a tag line on my own. I think the best suitable tag line would be “I See You… Don’t you see me You must have got idea about the movie from this tag line. Let me help you to save some bucks.

The movie is about the spirit of Shivani (Vipasha Agarwal) who bumps into the house of TV show host Raj (Arjun Rampal). Raj is the only person who can see her and she seeks help from him to take her out of coma and the hospital where one of the doctors is trying to kill her.

What I really liked most in the movie is, the story. It is very different from other movies. But I must also say that, director managed to make it worse in the 2nd half. The movie was doing pretty good in the first half but 2nd half has been stretched a lot, specially the climax. If I had a remote control then I seriously would have kept my finger on the fast forward button. In some of the scenes I felt like “what the hell they are showing!! but again, innocent smile of Vipasha stopped me every time. I even failed to understand the secret signal passed by the song “Halo Halo I should have understood that the song is telling me to leave the theatre. (In Gujarati, Halo means let’s go)

Okay, enough of bashing, now time for some good things about the movie. Actually, I liked only 2 things in the movie. 1. The cinematography. London is shown very well, specially views from the top. 2. Vipasha Agarwal’s cute expressions.

Let’s not waste much of the time and sum the things up.

Story: Very different story but 2nd half of the movie was poor. It was just too lengthy.

Music: OK, not bad. The song, Halo Halo should appeal teenagers.

Acting: Nothing to be taken note of. Arjun Rampal was good but there was nothing in the movie which could show some acting skills. I somehow felt that it was lacking the natural touch. It was all looking artificial to me. Vipasha Agarwal was good but again like I said earlier, the movie did not have things which shows skills of an actor. Vipasha looks like a girl next door. Sophia Choudhry was awful. Chunky Pandey was good and tried to make people laugh but did not get success.

So overall, I would rate this movie 1.5 out of 5.

Predicto Meter: Flop.

After completing Call of Duty 3 I had 2 games left to be completed. 1. Need For Speed Carbon and 2. Gears of War.

So finally today I finished Gears of War. Killed RAAM. Earlier I never used to like GOW but as I started playing more I started liking it. In fact I like it more than COD 3. Great graphics, gameplay… overall excellent game.

This game is a must buy for all XBOX 360 owners.

Now, it is time to buy couple of more games. Most probably going to buy Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas and I am yet to decide the 2nd game. And yeah, I will get one wireless card too for online game play (I hate connecting long long wires). Damn, these things are becoming so costly.

haha sounds funny right? I am talking about the tele serial Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. I got to know about this serial when I was surfing channels. This serial is supposed to be some boring family drama. But today it turned into some kind of Dhoom 2 show. I never knew Dhoom 2 / English movies will inspire these guys so much that they will end up showing some high tech theft scene.

Scene: A diamond is placed in some very secured place protected with laser beams and all. Nimmo decides to steal it, she enters the place somehow and the circus starts, Nimmo starts jumping here and there, shows some funny movements. And finally Nimmo is near the diamond. She takes out small football from her pocket, replaces the diamond with the football. Flees from the place with the help of some kind of gun with anchor. (I don’t know what exactly is it called)

So why does Nimmo do that? Well, that mystery is funnier than above. lol

She is in last stage of cancer and she stole the diamond so that his father can pay his debts.

LOL I wish I had gun in my hand and I wish she was doing that circus in from of me. I would have  shot her the very next moment. Nimmo ab bas karo.

I don’t understand, if these guys have nothing to show then just windup the serial, Pack the bags and go home.

Height of stupidity.

You must have got the idea about what I am saying if you are regular viewer of the reality TV show Big Boss.

I try to watch Big Boss daily and I have noticed that, every day I see new promotional tactics added in the show.

Take example of stuff like songs which are played daily, damn today they crossed the limit, I could hear some song called Kulvadhu… haha that is some song of their TV serial. Imagine hearing this kind of crap when you wake up, how can a morning be good?

2nd thing I noticed it, camera focus going again and again to Ariel and Gillette posters around. There is nothing wrong in it but it should focus more on the contestants or find a better way to promote the stuff.

I hope they don’t put ad posters all around the house now.

Now, some off topic on Big Boss. I must say, Rakhi Sawant is doing very good job by showing her stupidity in each and every episode. It’s fun watching her.

This movie has couple of things which will make you wait for. 1. Govinda’s much awaited come back. 2. It is another Priyadarshan flick. So the expectations of the people are really high and everyone is expecting a good laugh riot out of it. And till some extent it made everyone laugh, in fact, it made everyone laugh out loud. But again, there were few points where we had blank faces too. Let me jump to the storytelling session now.

The movie is about a theatre group going to London for the drama shows. But due to bad behavior of 2 of their members / actors - Bunty (Akshay Kumar) and Baabla (Govinda) - lead actress of drama leaves the team halfway. Now director of the theatre group Champak (Paresh Rawal) asks both of them to find a lead actress if they want to act as a hero in the drama. Bunty gets hold of Munni aka Nisha aka Aditi (Lara Dutta) and asks her to act as a lead actress. Now, this is not the end, Munni is suffering from Suicidal attacks, she tries for suicide and lands in the hospital. After getting conscious she realizes that she is already married to Vikram (Arbaaz Khan) and goes back with Vikram. But sudden death of Nisha / Munni changes the whole comedy story to suspense. Soon after that Vikram also dies but this time Bunty, Baabla and Champak are found guilty. So, as expected, their job is now to prove themselves as innocent.

Confused? Well, you have right to get confused. It is a confusing story but you will understand the whole thing as you watch it.

Actually, I was not expecting this movie to turn out as a suspense movie. I wanted it as a pure comedy movie which will make me laugh all the time. I really don’t know, what made the director turn this movie to suspense movie. It was doing so well in the 1st half, people were laughing out loud and in the 2nd half it lost it’s track. Director should know, when there are actors like Govinda, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, people do not expect any kind of suspense going around. All they want is, a good comedy movie.

Moreover, we expect a really funny ending in every Priyadarshan movie but this movie again failed to do that. The ending was kind of anti-climax and things just were not in place. It was kind of haywire. I have no idea what director wanted to show, comedy, suspense or something else?

One more thing I am trying to understand it, how in the world travel agent was searching for Lara Dutta’s flight details in Google?

Let’s sum up the movie:

Story: A good comedy storyline turned to suspense. 1st half holds very well but 2nd half looses the grip.

Music: Couple of songs were good. Signal and Tere Bin were good ones.

Acting: This is a very important part in this movie. Govinda and Akshay Kumar’s pair really made everyone laugh. Their expressions played vital part in comedy scenes. 1st half was just great. This movie will prove to be a good comeback for Govinda. Paresh Rawal was good as usual. Rajpal Yadav was good too. Shakti Kapoor tried his best to act funny. Jackie Shroff, Lara Dutta did their job well, nothing much in their hands.

So, overall I would rate this movie 2.5 stars out of 5. The main appreciation goes for the 1st half. I wish this movie had less of suspense and more of comedy.

Predicto Meter: This movie should do fair business looking at the hype created in the promotions. May be a semi hit status would be perfect for this movie.
