Sounds funny right? It is indeed funny. It seems that some people did not like Liz and Arun getting 2 million pounds from the magazine “Hello!” They wanted some scoop out of it and they did not get. So, the easiest way is? File a case on the name of religion.

I have been following this thing for couple of days, first Arun Nayar’s dad spoke to the press about how Liz behaved with him and other Indian relatives. And now some guy from Jodhpur (Vishnu Khandelwal, some local press guy) filed a case against them because of some stupid reasons. (I think it is Arun’s dad who is behind this)

Some laughable reasons include:

Khandelwal said he was upset when he saw Hurley and Nayar had taken alcohol prior to the religious rites and kissed near the sacred fire that Hindus hold to be the witness to the marriage

“They sat on a sofa and they were supposed to sit on the floor,” Khandelwal added.

Hurley wore leather footwear near the fire, in a land that worships the cow.

I seriously do not understand why court should entertain these kind of stupid cases? If Liz sits on the sofa then why it hurts this Vishnu guy or hindu religion? It is her wedding, she can do whatever she wants (provided she is not offending any god or religion)

I do not think any of the above mentioned reasons hurt any religion by any means. These kind of stupid cases remind me of Hari Sadu case against Naukri.com haha

It left smile on my face when I read the news about no powercuts in Mumbai but it did not last long. The daily load shedding did not stop, infact it increased to 4 hours from 3.5 hours. And even worse, from today it is going to be 4.5 hours daily.

Can you imagine, bloody 4.5 hours, that makes half working day. I recently bought heavy duty inverter and UPS for my office. But now I think it is going to be of no use, my UPS can run  2 pcs for 4 hours each but now I think, I will have to look for better solutions which can run office computers for more than 8 hours each.  I am pretty much sure that soon this 4.5 hour limit is going to reach 8 hours.

It is just ridicules. Bloody none of the suburbs apart from Mulund and Bhandup are having power cuts and here we have f**g powercuts. They don’t see that work is getting affected because of this shit. We do not mind paying some extra amount every month but give us the damn basic facilities.

I personally feel it is all politics, if Reliance or Tata can buy power from other states or other places then why can’t MSEB buy? Why government is not announcing load shedding in other suburbs, why Mulund and Bhandup are left out? Just because we have MSEB here and at other places it is Tata or Reliance? Too many questions left unanswered.

We seriously need some RDB (Rang De Basanti) effect now.

I am really sorry if my language is kind of rude in this post but I am seriously in no mood of being polite.

This is one of the few movies which made me leave the work and write about it. Okay,  let me quickly come to the story part.

The movie is based on the real life story of Kiranjit Ahluwalia or we can say it is based on the book Circle of Light. It is about Kiranjit Ahluwalia (Aishwarya Rai), who kills her husband and faces imprisonment. But the court overlooks the reason behind the murder. The court overlooks the torture which she was facing for more than 10 years. The movie shows how Kiranjit gets justice and how her story affects the whole nation. (Some changes were made in the British law after this case)

The movie was no doubt depressing but it was all real. You could feel the pain of Kiranjit. I must say this will be one of the best performances of Aishwarya Rai, simply brilliant.

I would give this movie 4 / 5

Commercially I do not see this moving doing good business but it is a must watch. Again, it is very depressing but a very good movie.

Haha, it was time when I used to watch movies like crazy, every Friday, first show, damn sometimes 3 movies a day too. It was fun. But now things have been changed a bit. I am still same crazy movie fan but the god has stopped listening to me and denied making 48 hours in a day instead of 24.

Business does not allow me to do much, infact I get less time to sleep also haha but it’s pure fun. I still watch movies (not on Fridays anymore) but do not get much time to write reviews. Infact do not get time to post more stuff here too. I have few things lined up to post but time is the only thing which I don’t get.

Anyways, not to bore much. I watched Namaste London few days back, it did not impress me at all. The Namesake was pretty impressive. The music by Nitin Sawhney is a masterpiece which I am not able get it here in India, well yea that’s other story though. Overall the movie is 3.5 star material and is a must watch. Tabu and Irfan Khan are pretty impressive.

On the English movies side: I watched 300, which is again impressive. Blood Diamond, very impressive too. War and Peace, this one is a documentary film which I don’t think so is out officially in India. But it was a nice movie. Not everyone will like it.

That’s about it. End of the quick post and now getting back to work.
