Yes need to do some things little differently, and I thought about all these things before as well. But I think as soon as you put guidelines and restrictions it no longer remains an unconf. There is a need for some change in thinking of sponsors (they need to learn how to grab attention at an unconf, if they will sell at uncof they will get trashed) and also change in thinking of participants (unconfs works best when you move around meet as many campers as possible and share, even if one guy is listening to you, that’s the real essence). I think we had a good unconf at Blogcamp Pune, the real action was in the atrium, where most of the campers were hanging and I met some interesting groups there, not in the classrooms.

As Parag said we will have a better camp next time, I am looking forward to it.

Hey Deep,

I have attended blog camps in SFO and NYC and there sponsors have no podium time at all. Its all by the bloggers for the bloggers.

But this was the first one in the west zone and Tarun should be given due credit. Someone also demanded beer at the venue!!
