Well, I am not a regular TV watcher but I do watch selected TV serials. And Love Story is one of them. You can watch it on SAB TV at 9 PM - Monday to Thursday (Friday is repeat telecast). The story is kind of common but the way they have presented is very different. Apart from the story, other best part of this serial is, The Songs.
Awesome songs, rock songs. Obviously it is not heavy rock but it can be called as soft rock as the songs are mostly love songs. Superb lyrics. Specially the song Teri Yaadein. The credits show the band Cactus for the music but I could not find any information about the songs on their site. But finally today I found downloadable version of the song. and the shocking part is, the song is originally sung It is sung by a Pakistani band called IMIK the song was included in their first album Zamana Badlay Ga - released in 2005. The song was titled as Piya. I have no idea why they have not given credit to IMIK, could have purchased copyrights or something.

Update: I found information about one more song from the serial, this one is the song which is featured along with the credits. It was originally sung by the band Cactus in Bengali, it was included in the Bengali movie Nil Nirjone released in 2002. The song was named as Mon (which means Mann) - Thanks to Anuran for the heads up. Till now I could not find Hindi version of it online. (Apart from the ones recorded from TV)

Update 2: Listen to the song Ranjish Hi Sahi here, this one was originally sung by well known singer Runa Laila. In the serial, this one was sung by Shurti in some party.

deep this song is a bengali song which came out long before 2005….its by a bengali rock band called cactus….dunno who sang the hindi version in this serial…the name of the bengali song is mon.(mann)

Anuran - the Mon is the song which is featured during the credits. This one is different. I could not find any bangali version of the song on Cactus’s site.

Whatever I am writing below please read.
I just log in in Google to search and dowmload a new song on love story which was shown in yesterday telecast only after Bhatti departs…… Gradually my search tooks me on this page. Friends I am hard core romantic, wrote poetry, sing also, wrote lyrics also BUT trust me i have never been touched so much in my life. I am 23 but after listen and feeling the lyrics i feel very much grow up..
I have the song “teri yadee” and i listen it daily with my all time favourite “Aye mere hamsafar”

As far as Teri Yadee is concerned its very hard to say anything.
First time i am speecless. I know the lyrics by heart but i cant write as i dont wanna cry in office.
So u can mail me if u wanna lyrics of all the songs of love story and other good nos also as i am passionate about words.
An advice to all of u : Just Listen once by heart the lyrics of the Boyzone’s songs - “Words” and capitalised and mean it in ur heart. u will find the reality in love. Just Words from heart nothing else and thts very imp specially for a gilr to understand
