Love Story Songs (SAB TV)

Well, I am not a regular TV watcher but I do watch selected TV serials. And Love Story is one of them. You can watch it on SAB TV at 9 PM – Monday to Thursday (Friday is repeat telecast). The story is kind of common but the way they have presented is very different. Apart from the story, other best part of this serial is, The Songs.

Awesome songs, rock songs. Obviously it is not heavy rock but it can be called as soft rock as the songs are mostly love songs. Superb lyrics. Specially the song Teri Yaadein. The credits show the band Cactus for the music but I could not find any information about the songs on their site. But finally today I found downloadable version of the song. and the shocking part is, the song is originally sung It is sung by a Pakistani band called IMIK the song was included in their first album Zamana Badlay Ga – released in 2005. The song was titled as Piya. I have no idea why they have not given credit to IMIK, could have purchased copyrights or something.

Update: I found information about one more song from the serial, this one is the song which is featured along with the credits. It was originally sung by the band Cactus in Bengali, it was included in the Bengali movie Nil Nirjone released in 2002. The song was named as Mon (which means Mann) – Thanks to Anuran for the heads up. Till now I could not find Hindi version of it online. (Apart from the ones recorded from TV)

Update 2: Listen to the song Ranjish Hi Sahi here, this one was originally sung by well known singer Runa Laila. In the serial, this one was sung by Shurti in some party.

    i saw one episode of this serial yesterday n heard this song there n since then had been trying to find it on net but couldnt coz i was looking for songs sung by cactus..thanks to you i came to know who the actual singers are and have finally downloaded it..thanks dude!!!

    deep this song is a bengali song which came out long before 2005….its by a bengali rock band called cactus….dunno who sang the hindi version in this serial…the name of the bengali song is mon.(mann)

    Anuran – the Mon is the song which is featured during the credits. This one is different. I could not find any bangali version of the song on Cactus’s site.

    dude its so sad they played with feelings of Imik..the guy who composed n sung himself said that i wrote this song when i was just 16 when my girlfrnd left me forever…dude its so sad……..

    I HVANT SEEN IT 4M STartin bt 4m d day i hav seen it .. i hav just lovd it… d characterss ,d story,….most amazzzing part vich attracted me 2 watch it daily was itssss songsssssssssssss ….i just love d songs …………..

    U just have to Signup urself once (its totally free)
    Then login with ur id and click the music icon from top and then ur preffered language (eg select Hindi 4 Hindi songs
    Now u just have to write teri yaadein in SEARCH TITLES
    u will find all the songs starting with teri yaadein ….Now just click the one u need and press download and save in ur folder
