Love Story Songs (SAB TV)

Well, I am not a regular TV watcher but I do watch selected TV serials. And Love Story is one of them. You can watch it on SAB TV at 9 PM – Monday to Thursday (Friday is repeat telecast). The story is kind of common but the way they have presented is very different. Apart from the story, other best part of this serial is, The Songs.

Awesome songs, rock songs. Obviously it is not heavy rock but it can be called as soft rock as the songs are mostly love songs. Superb lyrics. Specially the song Teri Yaadein. The credits show the band Cactus for the music but I could not find any information about the songs on their site. But finally today I found downloadable version of the song. and the shocking part is, the song is originally sung It is sung by a Pakistani band called IMIK the song was included in their first album Zamana Badlay Ga – released in 2005. The song was titled as Piya. I have no idea why they have not given credit to IMIK, could have purchased copyrights or something.

Update: I found information about one more song from the serial, this one is the song which is featured along with the credits. It was originally sung by the band Cactus in Bengali, it was included in the Bengali movie Nil Nirjone released in 2002. The song was named as Mon (which means Mann) – Thanks to Anuran for the heads up. Till now I could not find Hindi version of it online. (Apart from the ones recorded from TV)

Update 2: Listen to the song Ranjish Hi Sahi here, this one was originally sung by well known singer Runa Laila. In the serial, this one was sung by Shurti in some party.

    you are just gra8. love story is the best tv prog. that i had ever seen. we can take back this series by write to sab tv. but there is still some more need 2 write them. they want more fan votes 4 2 back this show. i know u all want this show back so plz write them n keep writing.

    Hi
    I am also sending the request to SAB TV to restart the serial Love Story again in 2011.i missed it because i was busy in MCA education. i have only 74 episodes of Love Story.but i haven’t the episodes from 75 to the last episode. that’s why i want to see it again.please do something i want to watch it. It’s painful to leave that serial as half.
