I just love the word Grow.. always makes me feel good, gives me strength to work more and more..
Was sitting with the accountant today.. was really happy to see around 50%+ growth in Web1 compared to last year..I am expecting this to reach atleast 75% this year.. hiring new guys.. now I have 6 people working with me.. and 8 including Megha and me..
Just love it.. just love it.. thanks to all the clients, friends and family for standing by me. Specially few people including my wife Megha for giving me strength all the time..
Life is fun..enjoying every bit of it
It’s almost four in the morning, just finished some work for a client, trying to sleep but for some reason not able to.. few things are just keep on coming right in front of my face. Today’s day was a learning lesson for me. It taught me a new way of life. Though it was pretty sad but I got to know some really close people very well today. The ones who have been with me for past 10 odd years.. the ones who were closest to me.. But I am really about whatever happened today.
There was no fight, there were no arguments but there were some words which reflected the narrow thinking of few people. And those words have really shattered me. But I am pretty much sure that today’s incident has left no marks on them, infact they must not have realized too, they must be happy in their own narrow world.
Today’s incident reminds me of a friend, a very close friend who keeps on telling me “People change along with the time” And I must agree on that point from now on. But I really do not want few of the real close people to change. I just pray they don’t.
I am really thankful to God that today’s incident happened. In the end, every bad thing is a opening door for the good thing which we are yet to see. I totally believe in this and I am sure it happened for good..
I really do not wish to discuss about this with anyone, it’s way too personal.
Tomorrow, a new morning, a good morning with new thinking towards few people.
Love the way life is shaping up. Falling…learning..falling and still learning.. love it..

People should start thinking broader, think beyond “me and myself”. I really do not understand why people have narrow thinking, why they can’t think beyond “myself”, think selflessly.
The day when we all start thinking selflessly, it will be the world’s happiest day. Helping out people without expecting anything gives the happiness which nothing else can give. But people fail to understand that.
On the narrow thinking, let me quote something which I had mentioned in Orkut’s Lohana (My cast) Community. This is about visiting temples but focuses more on the topic which I am trying to explain through this post.
My personal views are bit different on the temple thing. I think, it does not matter if you go to the temple or not, what matters is the faith and the way you live. We just need to get out of the “me and myself” shell, need to think lot more beyond that, think about how we can make the world a better place, think broad rather than limiting our thinking to something really narrow.
If you are not able to think selflessly then going to temple is not going to help at all. I personally never visit any temple coz I do not believe in visiting temples, for me, god is inner me who is always with me in my bad times, in my good times, it teaches me how to learn from mistakes, it punishes me if I am doing anything wrong, it praises me if I am doing something good..
I have seen people strongly believing in god, visiting temples everyday, every Thursday; but after stepping down from the temple, they are no humans. I have seen many visiting beer bars, many behaving badly with people.. I have no idea what’s in their mind.. i don’t know if they are in impression that going to temples will make them look good in front of the god?
I know few of you might not agree with my thinking but that’s how I am, just need to think in a broader manner, think beyond the temples, beyond the cast but need to think about the world, think about humans, in the end we all are humans. And the day we succeed in that, god will start showering the blessings at you.
Just my 2 cents of philosophy though…
Regards,
Deep
Note: I am by no means trying to prove that going to temple is wrong. It is belief of every individual and everyone is free to think best of their mind.
The point is, we just need to think in broad. Not to get stuck in our own narrow world. We need to grow up. We need to grow.. we need to grow..
I have been member of SeventyMM for around 1 year. On their website, they have a nice option to add DVDs in the queue and set priorities for the movies. I generally select the movies and once done, I set the priorities and save the changes.
I had used this facility earlier and they had shipped wrong movies (the ones at low priority), eventually they had apologized to me for the mistake earlier. But today, the same thing happened.
I got their email at around 9 in the morning, I called them to confirm at around 9.30 AM. The person on other hand told me the shipping guy has already left, I was kind of shocked to know that they don’t even confirm before sending the movies.
Ok, it doesn’t matter if they don’t have confirmation system but they should atleast send the movies which are on top priorities right? I asked the person about the same, she said but the movies have been sent and those were already in your list.
Now, this made me kind of pissed off, I simply told her that it doesn’t matter if the movies are in the list or not, you should sent the ones which are on top priority, what’s the point of the priority list then?
After some discussion she finally agreed to send the top priority movies tomorrow but yet she didn’t bother to apologies for the mistake they had done. I really felt as if I am talking to someone in government department. Her voice was more like a killer voice.. haha no I meant, actually killer voice.. like the one we get to hear in government offices. You feel like, you are gonna be killed very next moment.. for what? for calling them for help… haha
I know this is nothing something major but this is surely something stupid on their part. On one side, they keep priority list and on the other side, their system simply ignores it. It really doesn’t make any sense to me.
I am not sure whether entry of BigFlix has affected them or not? I would personally not recommend SeventyMM, try BigFlix and see. But if there is no other option, SeventyMM should be fine.
Note: For those who do not know, SeventyMM and BigFlix are movie rental websites / companies.
If you have watched the trailers of the movie Jannat, you must have got excited to know about match fixing and stuff. And many of you might have gone for the movie too.. (I could see that in the theatre with 80% of the seats being occupied in an afternoon show) But I have come to the rescue for the ones who still wish to go for the movie..
Okay, the plot revolves around a guy who starts with small time gambling and moves into betting, (Reason: His powerful sixth sense) and then moves to Match Fixing but all these things are not known to his girlfriend, so you know what will happen when she gets to know right?
Okay, so the review time now..
The movie started with portraying character of Arjun Dixit (Emran Hashmi) started well showing the image of a person who wants to earn lot of money in a short period of time and who is not worried about winning or losing. Okay, now, the lady love enters, Zoya (Sonal Chauhan), the gambler turns into a lover boy, breaks the glass of some shop to impress the girl. (That was purely stupid though) Uses friend’s money to buy a costly ring (He was supposed to pay that money to someone), the girl is in love with the guy. Now he needs a car? He tries his luck at betting, his “sixth sense” makes him a millionaire within an hour. (Yea, it sucks)
So the point of these things in review? Well, I am trying to point out that the whole movie is based on so called “sixth sense” of Arjun, no tricks, no calculations, just pure luck. He guesses, Ganguly will hit six on the next ball and he does, He guesses, Sehwag will be out on next ball and it happens..
To be frank, these things doesn’t fit well in my tiny head. Just makes me say “Dude.. show me the real stuff.. not crap” But it never happens, the movie takes a good turn with love story. Sonal Chauhan tries to impress the audience and I guess she succeeded too. Must say, she looked pretty bold. Infact, Emran Haashmi was also good, very good acting.
Very good music, very good cinematography but what was bad then? The story.. it was very poor, execution was pretty bad too, specially the climax. It was simply pathetic, I could see many people walking out.
IF, the movie was executed well, IF the story had bit more about bookies (how they work and all), IF the movie did not have typical Mahesh Bhatt types ending.. then it would have been a much better movie but sadly, it did not happen.
I am quite disappointed with Jannat. I would rate it Rating:

You can surely give it a miss and go for Narnia instead.
Box office wise, I think it should pick up well due to cricket and stuff, not sure about the future though.
