I was supposed to be sleeping at this hour but can’t stop myself from praising this movie. My head is almost spinning… not in so good health but again.. I just can’t stop myself.. coz I want everyone of you to WATCH this amazing piece of work..

The movie is about a boy (Aamir) who grown up in Kabul and moves to US with his father.. (after Russian attack in 1978).. the movie basically goes through many phases..

First one shows his childhood, relationship with his father.. best friend (who was servant at his house) and how few things affects his relationship with his best friend..

2nd phase shows more about father and son relationship..

3rd phase shows how Aamir goes back to his roots, Kabul.. what makes him go there again.. (the place he never wanted to visit again)

The movie also throws great light on Afghanistan way back in 1978 and in 2000.. it shows the freedom, the purity it had.. and way back in 2000, it shows how Talibans made a heaven.. hell..

I was really moved by many scenes of the movie.. not even a single word spoken between two persons but the expressions say it all.. it just shocks you…

The movie was nominated for Oscars and was very well acclaimed by critics. It is basically based on a novel written by Khaled Hosseini.

The actors were simply fantastic.. specially the child actors.. special mention for Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada (Hassan in the movie) and Khalid Abdalla (Aamir).. Khalid was fantastic in United 93 too.

I would strongly encourage you to watch this movie and post your views in the comments..

Great.. the wait is over.. I was personally waiting for this show for quite sometime.. I know there is drama and all but it’s fun.. it is surely much better than other reality shows.. (Yea. Roadies always tops the chart :D)

This time there are few changes….

Udit Narayan and Alisha got replaced by Kailash Kher and Sonali Bendre. Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik ofcourse are there. It coverers 16 cities instead of 12 last time.. (additional international cities) also the hosts Indian Idol 3 contestants, Meiyang Chang and Deepali Kishore.

I guess, the reason for choosing former contestants to make every contestant feel homely, make them feel that the hosts are also one of them and give some kind of boost.. and also it works with the teenagers also.. as they are their main target..

The show has just started around 20 minutes back and Anu Malik has started showing his super irritating style and attitude.. It’s always fun watching Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar fight.. haha..

The show is gonna air on every Friday and Saturday from 9 PM to 10 PM IST on Sony Television.

Here is the official site of the show

No, I am not talking about any person.. but this time, it is about the government of India.. and state governments..

I have been seeing that, government is always on look around for quick fixes for the things rather than the actual solutions..

Let’s talk about terrorism.. We had strict laws like TADA earlier but TADA was discontinued because it was being misused and it was too harsh. POTA too was misused in many places.. in UP even 12 year kid was put behind the bars under POTA. Government is not approving rules like MCOCA in any other states.. (Read Gujarat).. just because they are being misused..

Because of this silly reason, they are indirectly saying that, we won’t punish terrorists..

Its a common sense that, any rule can be misused and it does not mean that you need to cut off that rule.. they should simply work out on how it is happening and punish the guys who are doing it..

But due to this dirty politics, nothing is happening and terrorists are getting encouraged to attack more places in India.. Every Afzal is still enjoying the food in the jail…

Okay, let’s not talk about terrorism.. let’s talk about general things..

Recently, there was some ho-ha about the traffic in Mumbai.. and if I am not wrong.. they were going to pass some funny rule of driving certain number of cars on certain days..

They call this as a solution to bear the traffic.. but why can’t they even try to find the reason behind these jammed roads? Is it only because there are many cars?

NO, the infrastructure is bad. Currently I am on my way to Mulund from Matunga. There roads were badly jammed near Sion bridge and Chembur..

The reason?

1. People do not care about the traffic rules.. heavy slow vehicles drive in the middle of the road, blocking the way for other vehicles. No one cares about lane discipline.

2. The roads are in bad condition. Near Chembur, the reason for the badly jammed traffic was just the LARGE potholes in the middle of the road.. the whole road was clear but because of the bad road.. the vehicles were taking more time than expected and slowing down everyone..

So, do you think? Above given stupid suggestion is the way out?

Fix up the roads, build bridges… instead of entertaining such stupid suggestions..

We seriously need some sensible leader.. all these babus need good amount of rest at home..

I think I had discussed about this earlier too but the same topic comes in my mind always and my mind always wants to speak out about it all the time..  and I am sure it’s not just me.. many employers like me must be facing same issues..

These days I have been looking around for a senior level designer and PHP programmer.

The earlier designer guy left the company due to some personal reason..  I do not have any issues if someone leaves the company, everyone wants to grow in some or other way and I totally respect that but I really hate when someone behaves unprofessionally. I get the notice from the guy.. 20 days’ grace period starts.. so obviously as an employer I will expect the person to finish all the pending work and come regularly so that we don’t miss out the things..

But that thing never happens.. the person comes at 11.30 – 12.00 in the morning.. leaves office at 7 in the evening.. spends more time in personal matters and my work remains the 2nd priority. The guy also manages to bunk couple of days..

I mean.. what the fuck is this? Is it professional enough to do like this? No but people still do..

Let’s leave that example apart.. now here is the better example…

You call up hundreds of people, out of that around 10% turn up for the interview and around 10% gets selected.. i.e. only handful of guys… so, we finalize on the one guy.. the guy feels insecure seeing around 5-6 people working in the office.. so we decide to sign a contract just for the sake of it.. Okay, we sign some funny contract.. the guy is supposed to join in next 20 days.. you call the guy somewhere on 15th day.. he never picks up…. you call up again.. he never picks up.. and you start following the same routine thinking positive.. but the guy never picks up.. so, you call him up from a different number.. someone picks up and tell you that he is sick so won’t be able to talk..

Okay, so you get some kind of smile on your face.. thinking, he is REALLY not keeping well…. you call him up after 2 day.. again.. no one picks up… you call from another new number.. the guy finally picks up and assures that he will call back in 5 minutes..

But those 5 minutes never end.. and still going on.. and one fine day.. you get SMS from the guy saying, he won’t be able to join my company coz he got job somewhere else..

Now this is what I call A FUCKED UP SITUATION..

We wait for the guy for almost a month, stop interviewing the new guys and this is what you get? This kind of unprofessionalism.

I have seen many guys joining the companies and then leaving the new company within 2-3 days.. why? coz they get a better offer..  Many guys start going for the interviews within 2-3 months after joining the new company.. again, the same reason..MONEY…

I don’t understand why these kind of guys don’t have any professionalism? They have blooded signed the contract, given a word to someone and then too they switch company…

Is money so important? Or we have lost our ethics?

I am not saying this just because I have faced this kind of issue..but this issue is a general issue, happening with everyone..

There is bloody NO unemployment.. there are enough employees but there are only handful of good ones..

There should be some kind of global black list to prevent this kind of things and maintain ethics and professionalism.

I had mentioned this in many of my earlier posts and mentioning the same again this time too.. I am just fedup the way things are turning up. Political parties are screwing the common man from left and right.. the ruling government and police are doing nothing.. all we can hear is.. some head guy saying “No one can take law in their hand, we will take strict action against them” But nothing happens, these parties are already taking law in their hand but the police is like mute spectator.

A common man is suffering in this…. there is no security from these political goons.. what is tomorrow one of these guys think of implementing a funny rule and forcing people? What will happen? NOTHING..

But who is responsible for this? Apart from the police and ruling party.. Media played a bigger role in this.. they love to create issues from small things.

Day before yesterday, I was watching some Hindi news channel, it was showing Drona’s music release where Jaya Bachchan jokingly said (Video) that she will speak in Hindi as she is from UP.. Now, these channels were flashing the same thing 100 times and making it a big issue.. they showed things like “Ab kya hoga Raj Thackeray ka jawaab” (What will be reaction of MNS chief Raj Thackeray)

And the very next day, MNS chief puts a large hoarding on Bandra linking road showing ticket to Allahbad printed on it.. it said.. “The Marathi are never going to forgive you, and Shivaji Maharaja’s Maharashta is not going to forgive you either”  (Read more about it here)

And, then he decides to call a press conference and warn people about Jaya Bachchan’s statement. He uses harsh words like “The Guddi actress (She had acted in that movie)  has become old but still she hasn’t matured enough” (It was very harsh in Marathi.)

And the guy, without any fear “announces” BAN on Bachchan family movies.. also warns theatre owners about it… “Let us see who shows these films..” and he even makes fun of the gag order police issued against holding press conferences and public meetings..  “It seems that the government has extra stationary — they keep on issuing me notices. Let them issue notices, I will keep on expressing my views whenever I feel like” (Read More)

Now, these guys demand public apology for what she said.. I am 100% sure that a common man is not even bothered about it.. they are smart enough to differentiate between joke and serious statements..

So, Jaya Bachchan finally apologizes for no reason..  haha but now MNS says.. this kind of apology is not enough…. (This was being aired on news channels)

Okay, so this was about MNS..

Now, why should Maharashtra’s own party Shiv Sena stay behind.. they aimed at Shah Rukh Khan today..

Here is what sena Chief Bal Thackeray said.. “Shah Rukh says he is a Dilliwala. If you are from Delhi, then why have you come to Maharashtra”

“In southern states, the anti-Hindi campaign has been on for the last sixty years. There is a ban on Hindi films and Hindi news in Tamil Nadu. In Assam, those speaking in Hindi are killed,” it said. “Why don’t the people who boast here that they are from UP or Bihar go to these areas and unfurl the Hindi banner” (Read More)

I am not sure what he is trying to say here.. does he mean to say that, if others are doing stupidity, we should also do it?.. just for the sake of religion?

I don’t understand why these guys are fighting so much over Maharashtra or Maharashtrian language? Are they themselves Marathi? NO..

Their children are studying in ENGLISH medium school Bombay Scottish, their grand son is making HINDI music album.. they have their sites in ENGLISH (or partially in English), so on what basis they are saying that they are Maharashtrians?

They want people to speak in Marathi, they want Bombay names to be changed to Mumbai but they do not want to admin their children in Marathi school, they do not want their Children to cut a Marathi album..

Why they understand that Religion should be kept at home.. I am Gujarati, you might belong to some other cast but when we are on the street, we are INDIANS not Maharashtrian or Gujarati or any other cast..

Doing cheap things like this is not going to lead us anywhere, it will divide Maharashtra..

Politics has reached at such a bad level that these politicians do not care about anything.. all they want is vote bank.. they don’t care how much it harms the common man or the country…

Shiv Sena Website - (Mostly in Marathi but partially in English too)

MNS Vidyarthi Sena Website - (Totally in English.. earlier this site was used as MNS’s main website)
