24 hours.. more than 150 people dead, more than 330 people injured.. approximately 20 – 25 terrorists, around 10 killed.. Mumbai on fire… messed up messed up situation…
I have no idea what the hell is going on with the security, I haven’t been able to sleep much.. eyes are glued to the TV all the time.. hoping for some good news but I guess, it’s going to take it’s own time…
I am still waiting to see the choppers and army guys jumping in from the rooftop but I don’t see that happening either..
I want to write more on this but for some reason, I am not able to… I am not even able to work..
May be I am disturbed with these things.. I am feeling like cutting each of them into pieces but this is never going to happen.. the ones who will be caught will be sent to the jail and they will again enjoy the free food…
Our so called Maharashtra lover politicians have decided to sit in their holes.. as it’s not safe to go out in Mumbai… may be they will come out once everything is done…
Prime Minister and Chief Minister are asking everyone to stay clam and feeling sorry for the ones who died… but no one is talking about how strictly they will deal with this..
Some of the news channels are showing about Spirit of Mumbai.. screw it guys.. screw it… screw the spirit.. I am fedup with that…
Barkha Dutt is busy in showing how army is planning to trap these bastards.. this stupid female doesn’t know that by showing secret plans, she is not going become smartest journo in the world.. she is informing terrorists with the updates so that they can communicate using satellite phones..
I guess…. I have reached the end of my random thoughts…
Let’s hope we get hold of these bastards every soon…
Jai Maharashtra.. Jai Hind..
Note: You can read updates on the events here on Twitter Hashtags
Haha no, I am not talking about the amount but talking about the movie…
I have this bad habit of watching TV while working late in the night.. till now, I have came across really funny movies like Don No. 1, Indra – The Tiger and many other dubbed movies but this one crossed all the limits…
Sau Crore.. it is a pure Hindi movie directed by none other than, Dev Anand… crazy movie… I never knew Dev Anand will go so low..
The movie is about murder of Tennis player called Raj… everyone thinks the he was killed by Somnath (Naseeruddin shah) politician cum friend of his wife Kamlesh… (Yea, Kamlesh is name of the girl in this one LOL), so this CBI guy Devanand fights for them, turns to an action hero cum politician..
Okay.. so you might as, what so bad about it? haha.. well.. here we go…
- It was the leading actor’s first and last movie.. he understood that he can never act.. the guy dances like a monkey.. he acts like a wooden piece.. no no.. even wooden piece would look better…
- The girl tries to look like a sex bomb but she fails miserably..
- The leading guy, cries like a baby… leading guy and girl, play with girl’s wig on their first night.. the guy fights with his wife on the first night but in super funny shinning red boxer shorts, jumping on the bed…
- Devanand fights using Nunchaku, but all the wide angle shots are done by his duplicate.. which is clearly visible.. haha
These are just few things.. but when you watch the movie, I am sure that you will have a very good laugh…
It has some funny dialogues like..
Devanand to Police (after returning from temple): Mere maathe pe maa ka tika laga hua hai.. mujhe Somnath se milne do, nahi to aapko shaap lagega and the policemen allow him to meet Somnath… haha
Another one is from the lead actress where she has lost the memory, she suddenly remembers everything.. (after Devanand’s girlfriend sings a song to remind her old days LOL) and suddenly gets up and says “Main ab theek hu.. mijhe sab yaad aa gaya hai” LOL
There are many more… something like.. one of the villains (Kiran Kumar) remembering about red handkerchief given by baba, he wears it thinking it will give him strength to kill more people.. haha
Or may be… Devanand… singing a song with tape recorder in other hand to attract the people… (catch the video here)
Damn.. the list is endless…
But what makes me wonder is.. this movie has many top actors.. Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Vikram Gokhale… I don’t know why in the world they decided to act in this kind of movie…
Anyways, you can catch this movie on 9X… or may be get it on VCD / DVD.. but I would strongly recommend watching it once.. it’s pure fun…
haha.. it seems my experience with funny movies is never going to end…
What happens when someone asks you to pay Rs. 200 and watch Sas bahu drama and again, spend another 200 on cold drinks and popcorn..? Well, I am not saying anything… you have to decide on your own.. haha
Okay, let’s move on to the story.. story? haha well, let’s see how it goes…
Deven (Sallu) is in love with Anoushka (Katrina Kaif) but Anoushka’s father wants her to get married to a rich guy… so our Deven… figures out about wealth that his father left behind.. (Father had kicked him off 12 years ago), so.. our Deven guy… signs the agreement with Anouskha’s dad stating that, he will become billionaire in 40 days.. (he was hoping that he will get his part from dad’s wealth so easily.. LOL)
But the game starts now.. when Deven reaches his dad’s house.. he finds out that… our Subhash uncle (the director) has planned sas bahu extravaganza for him.. haha
He is welcomed by shakuni mama… mami.. and few crackpot relatives who are also behind the wealth..
Oh yes.. there are 2 brothers too.. Gyanesh (Anil Kapoor), who is mentally challenged aka Eeshwar guy and Danny (Zyed Khan)… aka rich bastard cum male version of Tulsi.
So, dad has given all these crackpots 5 crores each and the whole wealth to Gyanesh.. So now? Well… everyone is behind Gyanesh… Deven and Danny too try some tricks but on the halfway, these brothers realize the importance of relationship.. and bad brothers become good brothers.. good loving brothers…
Deven transforms to chalti firti daru ki dukan, Danny transforms to Tulsi.. with tears in his eyes all the time.. but our Gyanesh remains same… same… Eashwar guy… haha
Do I need to say more about the movie? haha I don’t think so… Oh yea.. you might want to know about Anoushka… haha.. yea, she keeps on coming in and going out all the time…
So… the review time?
Well… I am not sure that was in Subhash Ghai’s mind while making this movie.. I am not able to understand what exactly he was trying to say with the movie… or how this idea popped up in hid mind?
To be frank, it looks like he had written the story ages back or may be he watched too many sas bahu serials… it was simply pathetic and totally predictable from the start…
Apart from the story, the execution was so bad that, it was more like all the scenes shot at different time and just arranged in proper sequence…
What was Salman doing? Acting? haha.. I felt like, he came on the sets with few pegs on.. Katrina looked cute but the chemistry between her and Salman was BAD..
Anil Kapoor had nothing great to offer, the character was like the one he played in Eeshwar.
Zyed Khan… man.. why in the world anyone would like to cast him in the movies? Guys.. he doesn’t know the acting… he just knows to show off the stuff and cry like a baby… and yea… make everyone laugh on those emotional scenes…
Music was simply good but the way songs were picturized was really really weird, take example of the first song.. I don’t know why they decided to float Salman in the air and show those funny cartoonish, rainbow and all.. also the choreography by Shaimak Dawar was bad.. Mastam Mastam is a good example… It’s not a stage show man.. it’s a freaking movie..
I guess.. It’s time to stop now…
So overall, it was one more pathetic movie by Shubhash Ghai… he should retire and even Salman should… and the whole film industry should boycott Zyed Khan.
I would rate it Rating:

. This one star is only for the music…
Stay away from this one…
Well.. nothing much.. a glass of Tropicana orange juice on my right… XBOX 360 getting updated on the other side and here, I am writing this post… haha
On a serious note.. I think, I have been posting something personal almost after a month.. damn.. the time is running really fast these days…
To be frank, I love to speak my mind and talk to my blog the way I am doing right now.. it’s kind of fun.. I feel like I am connecting to lots of people this way..
So.. expect this post to be some kind of combination of random thoughts which are in my mind currently…
On the work front… things are finally going smooth… making everyone streamlined.. have been bit lucky to find good guys till now.. (sheesh.. touch wood)… the company is growing… I can feel it… but still a long way to go… looking around for the new guys.. currently on urgent basis, a PHP fresher guys is needed…
I have almost reduced working late in the night… started spending time on games.. haha… Bought Gears of War 2 and before I realize it’s started.. it got finished too.. haha.. so my 2500 got vanished in 5 days.. LOL… but anyways, it was a pretty good game.. I am gonna play again in Hardcore and Insane modes.. haha
Other than that, I have been playing Cricket lately to get rid of all the frustrations.. you know it’s easy to hit sixes and fours in that
… so it’s kinda fun, hitting 50 runs in 11 balls or scoring 150+ in less than 10 overs.. haha
Apart from these games… I am not getting much time to do anything else.. reach home somewhere around 7-8 in the evening… have food… watch some TV… and that’s about it…
Catch the movies on Fridays… and try to catch up with old pals during weekends…
Oh yes, this weekend is gonna be kinda messy… have to finish couple of CSS/xHTML layouts… and If I don’t… Swapnil – aka Programmer is gonna kill me… haha
I guess.. that’s about it.. nothing else coming in the mind.. to be frank, kind of stressed out with the things.. but might plan out a holiday in a month or so…
Okay.. I am off now, XBOX 360’s new dashboard update is also done… so,I should get back to my cricket and hit some sixes.. damn, I hate these bloody Australians, gonna hit them hard.. haha
Cheers,
Deep
Oh… Yes yes… one more thing.. I have been very active on Twitter these days.. you can catch me on Twitter here
When I had seen this movie’s trailer for the first time, I was wondering, what the hell does the title mean… but Google saved me and I figured out that it means “good bye” in Russian. I really had no idea what is the movie all about but when I saw Vinay Pathak as the main character, I was like.. It has to be good… he is a very fine actor. and I was right.. the movie was indeed very good… I would say, a brilliant attempt..
The plot is pretty simple… a 37 year old guy, who is not so successful with the job and not happy with the life. One day he gets to know that, he is suffering from stomach cancer. And he decides to live his remaining 3 months the way he wants and fulfill his wishes… So, he makes a todo list of the things he wish to do in next 3 months and wishes to finish them all before he dies…
Very simple story.. Vinay Pathak carries it very brilliantly… I don’t know where was this guy for so many years… film industry needs more actors like him.. even Sarita Joshi as his mother was really good.. small role but impressive..
I personally did not find the movie to be slow but some of the people did find it slow but for me, it was more like an exciting movie, his wishes were weird so I wanted to see how he fulfills his wishes.. there was not magic and all in the movie, everything simple and logical. The movie had few very impressive moments too… specially, when Amar (Vinay Pathak) buys the new car and takes his mother out.. I still can’t forget the expressions of his mother… or when he expresses his feelings to childhood sweetheart.. or Amar singing a song for his mom… Those moments were really emotional and carried out very well by the actors..
So, after these praises, I am sure you must have got what I am going to write about the actors.. haha, yeah, they were brilliant.. Vinay Pathak wins the heart… Sarita Joshi was pretty good too, liked Rajat Kapoor in a small role.. rest of the star cast was good.
So, overall, a very good movie, very very different from what we see these days. Worth watching in the theatre and adding in your DVD collection… and with an open heart.. I am gonna give it Rating:

. Yea, it was a very fine movie..
On the box office front, I think it should work by word of mouth.. should be a slow winner..
