I was planning to leave for home to watch today’s India Vs. WI match but I got to know from Harish that Yahoo is streaming the match live on their website.

So why not give it a shot? And guess what, it worked pretty smoothly without any delays on my 256kbps connection.

Excellent stuff, watch it here It does not work anymore as it was for limited time.

You can check Willow.tv for live telecast of matches (It needs registration and it is a paid site) The registration is available only for selected countries. More information is provided on their site.

Indya.com is also planning to telecast some of the matches, they have not announced it officially but World Cup 2007 official site shows them having rights to telecast the matches over the net.

I will update this post as and when I see anything important.

Injuries Injuries and Injuries which are keeping our players away from the cricket. This time it’s sachin again…he will be out of cricket for 2 months (8 weeks) due to injury on shoulder…first tennis elbow, now shoulder injury..

Is it time to retire sachin? I don’t want him to but his recent record says everything…

Well don’t think much if you are not able to understand anything from the title :D It means, My Sachin (Tendulkar) is back….I had lost my hope from Sachin Tendulkar but somewhere in my heart there was little expectation that, Sachin will be back in the form…and now finally he is :)

He is finally back in form after tennis elbow injury and now same old Sachin with aggressive and intelligent batting…It was time when he used to play very defensive but now that time has gone :) I left office early today just to watch Sachin and it was totally worth leaving half day’s work aside….

And apart from Sachin, whole Indian team is back in form, everyone is playing very well…the first match against Sri Lanka proved that “Yeah, we have a good batting lineup”…and this 2nd match proved that “Yeah, we have very good bowlers too” so in short…the team proved that “Yeah, we are back…” :D

I hope they keep on playing well forever :)

Old days are back? It was time when Lala Lajpat Rai was the one who was against Simon commission and they used to go to streets with slogans “Simon Wapis Jaao” (Simon Go back) so in today’s world our Mr. Ganguly is trying to act like Lala Lajpat Rai and started Go Chappell Go movement…but the only difference is..Lala Lajpat Rai was fighting for the justice and our modern hero is fighting for nothing…just to get media focus and accomplish his own personal goals…

I wanted to write about this for long time but was not getting enough time but today finally decided to write something so that I can express all my anger in words…

Recently Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly announced in the media that coach Greg Chappell asked him not to play the cricket for a while….and that’s all he wanted….everyone got excited about it….media people started firing questions at Chappell and Ganguly…Chappell wrote letter to BCCI about it, the letter leaked somehow (speculations point to Dalmiya camp for the leak)
