Earlier, I had heard a lot about bank frauds in the news channels and papers but today I experienced it myself. Though my case is no where related to net banking or anything but it was purely related to forgery. Here is the story:

I bought a laptop for one of my office guys, gave the cheque of Rs. 28,500 to the computer guy’s person (A/C Payee). In the morning the computer guy calls me asks me to stop the payment of that cheque as his person had lost it somewhere. I called up my bank’s customer support, they asked me to call the branch to do it. In between that I checked my bank account and was shocked to see the exact amount withdrawn as cash. (Bearer cheque)

But it was a A/C Payee cheque, so how did it happen? How did the bank allow at the first place? Well, it’s pretty simple and dumb on bank’s part too. The guy copied my signature on top, canceled “Order” word, so it becomes a bearer cheque. I asked the bank to get the photo copy of cheque. After checking it, I found that, the fake signature the guy had made was wrong, it was not same as the original one but still bank allowed him to take the money out.

Also, they gave him money without the company’s stamp. (Generally company’s stamp is required if the cheque is on the name of any company)

Though we have found the person (It was the computer guy’s employee only) but we are planing to lodge complaint to the bank for such negligence. Even a kid can make out that two signs are different.

Btw, this is what the guy did:

- He first went to the bank and asked for the cash against the cheque
- The bank guy tells him, you need to cancel “By Order” and get the sign of the owner
- Guy goes back, copies my sign and withdraws the cash

I never knew bank fraud is so easy.. only 3 steps..

Note: The bank in question is AXIS Bank, the branch is Chembur (Mumbai) branch.

Breaking News, Breaking News, Rakhi Sawant slapped her boyfriend Abhishek.

This is what all Hindi news channels were showing today. The same stuff was being flashed on Aaj Tak, Star News and our own India TV, the big time sucker.

Here is the video, in case if you guys want to have a good laugh…

Another example of seeking CHEAP publicity? Rakhi will never understand this I guess…

And apart from that, what are these news channels upto? Comeone, if Rakhi Sawant slaps her boyfriend or sleeps with her boyfriend.. what does a common man has to do with it?

Breaking News!!

P.S. Btw don’s miss the last line.. dono khush hai apne pyare.. lol

Talking about the drama we have been seeing for last few days.. MNS guys give some stupid statements about those hailing from UP and Bihar. Their goons beat up innocent people, create havoc in Mumbai and other places in Maharashtra. Government claims the situation to be under control but these goons never stop.. they still beat up people and FORCE them to leave Maharashtra. And they succeed in it too.

News channels, opposition parties, local public demand arrest of MNS head, Raj Thackrey.. RR Patil says, we do not have evidence against him to arrest.. central government decides to step in.. Mumbai becomes more like a warfront with policemen and special force guys all around.. MNS guys attack North Indians in Nashik.. stone pelting, burning the buses take place.. police says situation is under control and they are not politically influenced.. people and news channel laugh at them..

Finally, people get to know that Raj Thackrey will be arrested today (Feb 13, 2008). Raj announces that if arrested, he is not gonna seek bail.. MNS guys ransack many places in Nashik, New Bombay and other areas.. people shut their shop in many places in Mumbai including, Sion, Parel, Andheri, Dadar, Worli etc.. stone pelting starts near Sion highway..

Finally Raj gets arrested.. most of the Mubaikars are smiling with happy face but there is a slight fear of attacks by MNS goons on local public..

Around 7 PM India time.. we get the news that Raj is released on conditional bail..

So, in short.. Maharashtra government and police celebrated April Fools day today..

Sucks.. do they think we all are fools here? Bloody shit politics and politicians.. No law and order, these goons can attack anyone anytime and police prevents that they are doing their job properly.. WAKE UP..
