Google is always upto something different…Gmail, Desktop Search, becoming Domain Registrar and now suddenly I hear that Google Agrees to Acquire web stats company Urchin, it seems that they might have plans to get into web hosting and domain registration business like yahoo…

I think yahoo’s next move will be something like this…

UPDATE : Heard just now at SEM 2.0 group that “A private equity firm has bought WebTrends from its parent”, now it is possible that, Yahoo is behind this…(their official press release says that “Francisco Partners to Acquire WebTrends”, but I still feel that yahoo might be behind this…)

Google is weak, too weak….google needs links from different IPs and they give that….

I have seen many Indian SEO guys jumping here and there to get top listing and they are succeeding also…but the only thing lacks is “Ethics“, I have seen many SEO companies in India, they are involved in doing dirty tricks like

using client’s site for link building (without taking permission),
using hidden text on the page,
creating MANY fake sites, blogs, posting duplicate content and linking each site to other,
creating fake directories etc…

No one is involved in “Genuineâ€? SEO tricks, no one cares about ethics…

Got to know about it at Micro Persuasion blog…

Did you know Microsoft has a new Froogle-like shopping search engine? I didn’t. The press didn’t, but a few bloggers have known for awhile thanks to one of the Microsoft webloggers. Even the MSN Search team didn’t blog about it. Why so quiet?

I personally liked it very much, looks neat compared to current version..specially the compare product feature is very good…it allows to check multiple products and compare all…

The color combination is too cool..

You never know what google is upto…I had heard about it few months back but then it was considered as rumor but now again it is in discussion…

I read about it just few minutes back at SE Roundtable.

This is what it says…

I’m calling it an Internet Operating System because it sounds 10x better than what a recent article called Google’s future plans, quoted saying it is a “Web-based thin client-type hosted environment-slash-operating system replacement.” A what? There has been some buzz in the last several months relating to Google’s plans for an operating system that could take on the likes of Microsoft. I reported back last year about Google hiring some of Microsoft’s employees and setting up an office right next door to Microsoft’s Redmond Headquarters in Washington. It seems Microsoft is not the only one that likes temperate weather while coding operating systems.

Show page titles in google search, Found this when I was checking google firefox page

I just wrote “ie” instead of “firefox” and it showed me this page

It shows only page titles in search, no description, no ads, nothing…

Pretty cool..isnt it ?
