I had mentioned about their customer support earlier also and this time commenting on the same again…
I am using their Savings and Current account, their online banking service is very good, I have never faced any problems as such…you can call me as one of their Happy Customers…
They have recently introduced Card 2 Card facility for current account holders (itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s been there for few months for savings account holders)
I was eagerly waiting for this service, me too lazy of writing one cheque and going to HSBC drop down center and dropping the cheque…
So I used the Card 2 Card transfer option….I generally transfer the amount 3-4 days before the due date so I did the same this time also…
I checked my online credit card account on HSBC website after 3-4 days and was surprised to see that, they had not received my payment…I was really ashamed because I do not prefer paying the amount after due date, prefer clearing all the amount before the due date…
I called up HSBC customer support to check whether there is any technical problem from their side or not….but there was nothing wrong, she told me that they have not received the amount till now…
I was worried because it was the last date for the payment…
I checked my ICICI account and found that, the amount I had transferred was rejected and no reason was specified…
I called up ICICI customer support, explained him about the matter, he said, sir, I can see the amount as rejected…I was like…yes that I too know but tell me the reason…
He said, reason is not specified…in short he was telling me whatever I already knew….
He opened a ticket and promised that someone from their side will get back to me in 48 hours….this was happened on 1st of June, today it is 5th June and it seems that, their 48 hours complete when customers reminds them after 4-5 days…
I am gonna call them up tomorrow to remind that, they have forgotten reply to my ticket….
Sometimes I feel that, their customer support is like customer support of some rural banks….the only difference is, people here talk in English and politely but the end result is same….
Your problem is not solved
P.S.: About the card payment, I sorted it out with HSBC, I dropped the cheque in their drop down box on that day and they aussred me that, I will not have to pay any fine 🙂

My father is in serious condition. He has to do the medical operation immediately as earliest possible. Doctors need money before they start operation. IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m trying to transfer money to my friend account that can take care my father in hospital. Whenever I try to do fund transfer IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m getting this error message. Last 24 hours IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m getting this same error and when I have reported to customer service they said it would be fixed in 30 minutes to 1 hour. They lied with me when I try after 1 hour IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m getting this same error.

I know this is very common issue in the Internet world but IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m suggesting and requesting to help customers somehow by have technical team to fix the issue 24/7 instead of having 24/7 customer service and lying to customers. This incident really makes me to worry about one very good private sector bank in India does business like this.
I want to suggest something. This is really frustrating all ICICI bank customers. This is totally ridicules and unacceptable. When I called 1-866-ICICI4U, they tell the same think what system says. They are totally not helpful for ICICI customers. ICICI can save some money by avoiding customer service. If ICICI want to keep the customer service, please give them permission to help customers. The main reason I have account with ICICI bank is it has good facility like Fund Transfer online, online account and etc. Since these tools are not working during some emergency time IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m wondering should I have to close my account or not.

I feel like laughing when someone says ICICI customer service is good. This is the worst service I have ever seen.
There was a transfer of 700 USD to my account from USA in year 2003. In 2005 they reversed the transaction saying that “WRONG CR REVERSED”. I have been asking them from 15 days the reason behind that but no one is ready to clarify the issue.
After getting really frustrated, I email Mr. K. V. Kamath CEO ICICI, its over 3 days but I have not got any response from him also. If the person at this position of the bank is so irresponsible then why should someone bank with ICICI?

Customer Service at an All Time High
I am an existing customer with ICICI Home Loans and pay 8.75% floating interest rate. I had requested for Foreclosure statement and Statement of Accounts on Oct 25th. While i received the statement of accounts through courier i never received the foreclosure statement.
So Again, i placed a call on Nov 14 for Foreclosure statement and this time i was to receive within 48 hours and yet again i did not receive the statement.
In the interim, I got a unsolicited ICICI credit card – lifetime free (which i received on Nov 23) by just taking details from my home loan account (There is absolutely no DATA PROTECTION).
And i had to spend half hour over phone to get it cancelled. To top it all, they ask for confirmation for my details when i did not know where they got my details from and later confirming that they picked my details from my home loan account. And even one of their customer service personnel was quite rude that i would not have got one without me applying.
But the home loan dept still maintains that my address turns out to be incorrect only for the foreclosure statement.
(While i could get my statement of accounts, a credit card pin mailer and credit card thru courier at the same address).
Worst customer service I have ever came across
NO doubt worst customer service .. I hope they stop showing the stupid ads!!!! Just went there yesterday to clarify something about my trading account. They shuttled me here and there and finally tells that person is not there. There is nobody to even help you out when you reach the bank, The May I help You desk was empty!!!
I applied for debit card and pin no. on 19-jan -2006. icici representive told me that it will come to my communication address within 5 working days. today it is 31-jan- 2006 but i not yet received that. when i called icici customer care they said it is despached on 28-jan-2006 that is on 6th working day…..????? i was very shocked to know that. they said wait for next 2-3 working days and then again give the request.
is this is the only work i have to give request and wait for the same to execute????
ICICI Bank is the worst bank in India. I live in US and my mother nominated me for some FD’s she held with its Ghatkopar (Mumbai) branch.
Since she passed away, I approached the bank for the proceeds. They said all papers have been washed away in flood and therefore they will not honor the nomination.
The have asked me furnish 3 sureties, with PAN numbers and income tax returns. How on earth can I get 3 people to furnish so many personal details – that too when I live outside the country ?
Their Customer Service head (Satinder Kaur) is also useless. She never replies to messages and is totally unresponsive.
I have never faced such harassment from any bank in India, despite ICICI bank being at fault.
Credit Card Department
This is the third mail in the series of complaints which I have emailed you (refer to my previous mails below). In November, 2005 I have also spoken to one of your employees, Sunita Gupta (who claimed that she was a Senior Manager), who promised to investigate the matter & call me back in 3 working days, which she never did. I again called back your customer care on 03/02/2006 & spoke to Yogesh Verma (again calling himself a Senior Manager), who told me that since my case is more than a year old, he cannot investigate it. He also informed me that thousands of such credit cards were provided to Corporate employees at that time & it is impossible to trace the marketing executive.
However, he still did not have any explanation as to how the card could have been issued without me filling any application form or signing anything. I am sure ICICI must be perpetrating this fraud with thousands of unsuspecting customers & since I hit upon this by chance, they have very diplomatically closed down the credit card account.
ICICI has the worst customer service in the industries where even so-called senior Managers speak like executives & do not take onus of the customer’s complaints. To add insult to the injury, Mr. Yogesh Verma refused to escalate my complaint further and told me that the only resolution he has to give is that the credit card account has been closed & nothing further can be done. It is shocking that a reputed bank like ICICI is so lax about its customer’s account security. Maybe it is because they are more interested in minting money by selling more services & are perfectly willing to issue Credit Cards to any TOM, DICK & HARRY at the cost of their customers.
I expect a proper & satisfactory explanation as to how you issued a fraud credit card to somebody who used MY ACCOUNT & MY MONEY without my consent??? I expect compensation for the mental harrasment & trauma I faced from this episode & in case, you are not able to solve my case, expect you to provide me with the contact details of K. V. Kamath, CEO ICICI, so that he can be made aware of such issues.

Credit Card Department
This is to lodge a formal complaint against the Credit Card Department of ICICI Bank for issuing an add-on Credit Card against my Salary account, without my consent (presumably with fraud documents) & harassing me with repeated text messages for payment of unheard of amounts.
I hold a Salary Account with ICICI (015101500033) and had been using the same exclusively for all my transactions. Approximately 6 months ago, I noticed a curious debit of Rs. 469/- against a Credit Card No. in my Mini Statement followed immediately by a credit. Curious, I called up the ICICI Customer Care & was horrified to hear that somebody had been issued a Add-on Credit Card under my account. The most amazing thing is that I do not hold a Credit Card, nor have I ever applied for one!
Inspite of my best efforts to get to the root of the matter, including the name of the person who holds the fraud card, address submitted & how ICICI issued such a card without my formal consent, I was frustrated since over a series of phone calls to your call centre, several executives told me that they will be unable to provide any such details. They also appologised profusely & assured me that the Card would be deactivated (which is a rather tame resolution considering the circumstances). I had forwarded a written email complaint requesting that the matter be further investigated & the person who perpetrated the fraud brought to book with due intimation to me, but received a very vague reply stating that the matter is being looked into etc….
I was so disgusted with this attitude of your ESTEEMED Organisation, that I withdrew all my money from my account, without bothering to close it & considered the matter solved.
Alas, however your Organisation seems to be determined to continue pestering me and lately I have been receiving text messages on my Mobile, which has a brand new Airtel Connection (#9892049720). The content of the first text message is as follows –
1) Received Cheque No. (721977) of Rs. 1500 on 17-Sep-2005. for payment to your credit card no. 4xxx2003. Thank You (Recd on 19-09-2005, 18:54:01 from ICICI Bank)
After I recd the first message, I called up your cust care and spoke to your executive Mr. Salim, to whom I explained the entire matter in length. He again did a very good job of appologising profusely & informed me that the SMS has been sent by error. The second text message says –
2) Payment on your ICICI Bank Credit Card 4xxx2003 is due on 25-Sep-2005. You may choose to pay the total bill amount of Rs. 12849.99 or a minimum amount of 1/2 Rs. 650 2/2. (Recd on 22-09-2005, 11:26:23 from ICICI Bank)
This time, I spoke to your executive, Ms. Veronica, who was completely switched off when I was narrating my issue to her and at the end of it all, asked me to confirm the address given in the Credit Card Account !!! Since I was unable to do so, she refused to help me out, at which point, I asked for my call to be escalated. I spoke to Mr. J Shiva Prasad, who assured me that the matter would be investigated.
I would request you to try and please make me understand how a renowned organisation like yours can blatantly issue Credit Cards against fraud documents & to what extent a genuine customer has to go, before his problem gets addressed & resolved. I am also apalled at the unrepentent attitude of your employees who are unwilling to lift a finger to stop such malpractices.
I think I have certainly earned the right to ask for my issue to be investigated immediately with due intimation to me. Since my account & my name has been used to indulge in such practices, I also expect redressal for the same.

Credit Card Department
This is to register a complaint against unauthorized issuance of a Credit Card against my name & the subsequent utilization of the same.
I am a salary account holder with your bank for the last two years and my account number is 015101500033. I do not hold a ICICI Credit Card, nor have I applied for one at any point of time.
However, recently, I noticed a debit transaction to the tune of Rs. 469.33 (Rupees Four Hundred Sixty and Thirty Three Paise only) from my account on the 10th of November, 04 in my Mini Statement in favour of Credit Card No. 4477466335508007. Subsequently on the 13th of November, I saw that my account had been credited with a cash deposit of Rs. 470/- (Rupees Four Hundred Seventy Only).
Since I was extremely curious about both these transactions, I called up the ICICI Helpline Number several times and was informed by the Credit Card Department Executives that this Credit Card was issued to me a couple of months back and has been cancelled last month. The address which was shown on the Credit Card is Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Havare Building, Flat No. 304, Sector 19, Vashi, whereas I am a resident of Dombivli (West) as you can make out from my account details. However, they confirmed that according to my database, I am an employee of Reliance Infostreams Pvt. Ltd and my designation is that of a Team Leader, which is correct.
I was also given to understand that a Add-on Credit Card has also been issued to one Ms. Kamlesh (No last name given) and several transactions carried out through the same, including a cash deposit of Rs. 14000/-.
I require to know how a Credit Card has been issued without my knowledge & which documents had been provided for verification by the Bank. Furthermore, I also require to know the identity of the individual who has been using my account for his/her own ends and how the person managed to do so entirely without my knowledge.
In short, I request you to carry on a full-fledged investigation since I strongly suspect that somebody has provided fraudulent documents & fake verification to apply for a Credit Card in my name.
Kindly do the needful & intimate me at the earliest.

ICICI Bank is the Bunty Babli bank of India. They hide facts from customers to get them into the net and then boom! The poor customer has no protection against the axe that falls. Mr. Kamath is taking this bank towards one of the biggest banking failures in world history. He should know that a great bank cannot be created when there is a constant employee attrition and customer discontent. The employees commit all sorts of frauds to meet their targets and it is the customer who suffers. The one trick that ICICI Bank has played on regulators is that they have grown so big that regulators are frightened to point out the colossal frauds the bank carries out for the fear of triggering a banking sector collapse.

Some staff in my Company (all have the same account type, and generally the same pay scale ) are being debited for debit card usage and some are not. Queries are not answered so far. (Crooked)
I had horrible experience trying to get my password reset (Arrogant Bastards). I requested a password in Oct 2005 and got my new password only in Feb 2006, after my Company threatened to take its account some place else.
Giving loans are their prerogative, but some one must answer for their bad service in inordinate delays in answering queries, in correcting crooked book keeping, no doubt to inflate their worth and unrepentant arrogance.
ICICI bank is absolute apalling. Their slogan of “Hum hain na” is very apt, only that it applies to their customers (i.e. us poor mortals). Hum hain na idiots to bank with ICICI.
I spoke to the hotline for a home loan with ICICI on 26th Jan. Got a reply that “some one will contact with in 24 – 48 hrs”. 3 days later, and many calls later the reply was still “some one will contact with in 24 – 48 hrs”. Finally screamed my head out at some soul in the call center, told them that I will personally inform Mr Kamath about their service and that did the trick. A person called from ICIC at midnight 2.30 am to talk about home loan … Yawn …..
Finally got a approval (verbal) on 10th Feb and a relationship manager Mr. Prashant Verma was assigned. This guy was one of the craziest fellow I ever delt with. According to him everything is ready and I could travel to India the next day and take the Home loan cheque. Finally After dealing with him on phone everyday, I reached bangalore on 19th and NOTHING was done. I worked trough ICICI system, heard all lies, heard statements like “Why should I hear the crap from our customer” etc etc.
Heard excuses like,
11.30 hrs – the cheque printing division is in another building and I am going there right now,
12.15 hrs – the data is being entered right now in front of me
14.00 hrs – the person approving the loan is in Hubli,
14.30 hrs – Now she is out for lunch,
15.30 hrs – the server is down,
16.30 hrs – the cheque printing machine is not working etc etc.
17.00 hrs – I have taken out 5 cheques for you and some one will write the cheques for you.
18.00 hrs – The cheques are on the way
19.00 hrs – Printed cheques handed to me ??????
Then he asks me to sign a photcopy in acknowledgement of receiving the cheque. When I handed my original house documents as mortgage and asked Prashant to acknowledge it he says “ICICI as a policy will not give acknowledgements”. Different rules for different people ????????
With the nightmare over, I return back to Singapore. And the matter does not end.
TODAY 3rd March I receive a mail from ICIC bank which goes as follows “Greetings from ICICI Bank Ltd. We are pleased to inform you that your loan has been sanctioned.The loan sanction letter will be dispatched to your overseas communication address as mentioned on the application form.
Should you require any further assistance or clarification please write back to us. It would be our pleasure to assist you.

I honestly think you have done a great job in giving people to vent their anger out on a system that they call ” Hum hain na”!!!. They only thing that the ICICI bank does is give you one hellva lot of “chinta and no money’!!! Even though I have held an account with this lousy bank for almost eleven years – I began dissuading others from getting their accounts in this so called professional bank. I nmantain just a nominal balance as I have to pay of a car loan financed by ICICI. Had it not been for this – I would have closed my account a long time ago. Each time I get a call offering me a home loan, credit card – I just start laughing on the phone pretending to the caller that he or she has cracked a joke.
A funny one is there alright. We actually recieved a credit card in my grandmothers name with a limit of 40k. This was all ok except for the fact that my grandmother had passed away 22 years ago!!!! Long before the professional bank came along! We explained to them about this fiasco – but the best was still to come – they even sent the pin number!!!!
I have so many stories that I can relate about ICICI that I will need one hellava lot of space to fit in everything!
My story here is about an NRE account opening process from US with ICICI
I came across this email and option in my search for some straight answers.
I have to tell you that I am extremely frustrated … enough to call it quits on
my attempt to get anything done with these folks. Below is my issue with
Feb 1: Application for NRE Savings account sent to US PO Box
Feb 23: Received e-mail indicating that account was in operation
Note: That took 21 days !!!
Feb 23: Realized that I had provided a PO Box address in US that could cause
issues with courier
Feb 23: Sent out a change of address form providing an alternate address in
US with all necessary support documents as required for address changes.
Feb 24: Received delivery of Debit card and cheque book in spite of PO Box
delivery address … Possible because DHL was used and they called me and
indicated that they had a package for me.
Feb 27: ICICI recieved my change of address per courier tracking
Note: Never received a single piece of email from ICICI indicating
that they had received my request and would fix the address.
Feb 28: Still no sign of Net banking and Debit card pin information. Called
ICICI at Toll Free US number and no information available. No email from ICICI
indicating an issue. The assumption on my part is that since I received the
cheque book I should probably get the other stuff as it would come via DHL.
Mar 02: Called ICICI and got a tracking number on courier sent. Apparently
they used ICCWorld and sent a package on Feb 25
Mar 02: Called courier to see what happenened to package and why I
could not track it … courier service indicated that the packages from ICICI are
special and no tracking info is available on them. They told me that they would
call in 48 hrs. with some info.
Mar 05: No call from courier
Mar 05: Called ICICI to see what happened to courier. They have no info
available but asked me to wait a day. Asked ICICI whether my change of
address had been entered in the system. They indicated NO.
Note: ICICI seems unconcerned that I have not received my packet with important personal information. So much for a sense of security. Moreover, no one in ICICI seems to know the value of informing customers when they send stuff out or when the stuff is not delivered or whatever the case might be.
Mar 06: Called ICICI to ask about courier and change of address. No
information on former but they think that ICCWorld might have returned
the packet to Mumbai because of their inability to deliver to PO Box address.
They then opened an SR# on the change of address request. Told me that
I would receive info from them in 48 hrs.
Note: The operative word on the courier is “Think” not “know” and they still
Mar 08: No call or status email from ICICI.
Mar 08: Called ICICI number in US. They are telling me that in order to accept
my change of address in US I need to have a permananet address in India.
They claim that RBI requires that I have a permanent address in India to
accept a change of address.
No account or issue status ever received via email
Use of poor courier service which cannot provide tracking information or status of delivery
No follow-up on important things such as Net banking ID/pass and Debit card PIN
No followup on a priority SR opened to understand why request for change
of address has not been initiated
ICICI application clearly states that NRI does not need address in India
(not mandatory it states). Is the application incorrect? The parrot at the
service desk and SR resolution is demanding an India address to institute a
change of US address.
ICICI change of address application for never requested India address
information. So is the application incorrect?
ICICI service desk in the USA VERY UNHELPFUL asking me to send another
courier with India address information before a change of address can be
initiated and any banking activity can be achieved by me on this end.
Claims that it is an RBI requirement though cannot provide me a reference
for this quoted rule.
My current situation:
No Net Banking Info
No Debit card PIN
No foreseeable resolution to address change as I cannot fulfill request for
permanent address in India
No foreseeable access to account via Net Banking services.
Very scary view of future dealings with ICICI in cases where problem
resolution is needed from intelligent phone representatives
At this point, I have an account which I have no view into and no
understandable reason why this is the case. My current options seem to be
to close my account and move over to some bank which CAN provide me
with a minimum level of service that I should expect. Having parrots for
service desk managers (in this case some person by name Ramesh) who
kept saying the same thing “Sir it is an RBI requirement” hardly helps a
customer. I asked him to provide me further details on this requirement and
he would/could not. He could not explain why the application form clearly
states that the address requirement is not mandatory for NRI. He could not
explain why I was not receiving direct communication from ICICI on my issues.
The saga continues …
On 6th March I sent a mail to [email protected] for escalation to ICICI,but no response(See my series of mails attached below this note)…Looks likes its a joke to keep the ID for quality…They are playing monopoly …guess mass boycott can do something for them to check to customer queries…I am facing huge harrassment with my icici-direct account..Don’t know where else to go now…Can anyone give the great MR. Kamath’s mail ID..guess he also will not respond if a mail is sent..looks like its a corporate policy to not to address customer queries..

In the month of January 2006,I had received a call from your customer service that I have to provide some additional documents
to retain my ICICI-Direct Account.Which I understand is a requirement from NSDL when multiple accounts are there from same
address(As in my case I had office address shared with hundreds of other colleague’s).
So I asked them to collect the documents (few signatures in some documents,PAN card xerox,address proof etc) from me asap
to avoid this de-activation of demat account.
One Agent came down to my house during last week of January’2006 to collect the documents.I took his agent code and other
details for verification later on(Thank God I did !!).

Now after promptly doing as advised by your customer service to avoid the deactivation,I had to face the problem.
It was deactivated on 8th Feb.When I called up your customer service to mention that I have already provided the documents,
I am told that I have to provide them again.Even though I provide all details regarding whom I have provided them ,they are
advising me to provide the documents again by going to the nearest branch.
Now the next side of the story.After facing this problem,I call up the great Manager’s Number which I have collected above ,while
providing the documents.He tells me everyday that my account will be activated in 2 days time(alas its going to a month now).
Everyday I call him up, he tells me it will take 1 more day.Atlast he gives up and tells me to call another number to enquire about
the same.This time I start calling up Mr. Ram (Mobile no is 9845514325).Same with this person also.He passes me on to his
another colleague Mr Ashraf( If I recall the name correctly).Now ,that was it ,I knew I am being played around here.
Meanwhile ,everyday I call up customer service just to find out that account still remains deactivated,and I am being advised to
provide documents again with no complain being registered against the agent/his manager/manager’s manager etc..
I am not being able to access icici-direct and access the share market mid-cap/IPO etc for more than a month now.
Now,I doubt ,this mail which I have written will be sincerely addressed or not?
Hope you don’t set this aside,by thinking that one single customer should not be given so much priority.
I guess some action will be taken from your end.Else someone else will be facing this same problem.
I am also holding my salary account in your bank for last 6 years.With regret I would like to say that,I no more want to have
relation with this type of bank,where no customer care is taken.

I would like you to go through the series of email correspondence between me and ICICI bank in last 15days I am yet to get a response. I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t know if there is somebody by the name of Satinder Kaur as Head-Customer Service Quality exists in ICICI bank or it is one of the ways to make fool of the customers.
in my case only a wrong internet transfer was made and ICICI had to just bounce back the amount to citibank….and the greatest bank with the most talented staff doesnt know what to do.
In addition to this, I have even spoken to about every single person in call center at Hyderabad. And believe me they are amazing as they donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t know any thing.
KUDOS TO YOU FOR HAVING SO HELPLESS AND DUMB TEAM AT ICICI CUSTOMER CARE WHO DONÃ¢â‚¬â„¢T EVEN KNOW IN WHOSE NAME AND TO WHICH ADDESS A REQUEST FOR DUPLICATE PAY ORDER HAS TO BE MADE.
I was given this id as [email protected], who is suppose to be some Sr. Manager with ICICI bank, by one of the Service Managers and am still waiting for a revert from her so I am escalating the issue at this id. If somebody sitting at such a higher post takes more than 24hrs to respond to the customer issue, then I think that person does not deserve to be at the place.

The agents are step ahead .They have asked me to go back to my branch bank and the branch tells me the retail bank cannot do anything.
I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t even know if these women were managers of just another customer service agent taking escalation call for their colleagues. All of them have made false promises to me and have added to my frustration and dissatisfaction.
On Monday 20 mar ,I called up the customer care and did speak to one of the managers and asked for the name and address and email id of the concerned person in ICICI bank so that my husband can get the certificate from Citibank that they did not receive the PO sent by ICICI bank,
(details of the same are as :PO # xxxxxx,dropped in Citibank drop box in RBI bank , Jeevan Bharti building, Connaught place, amount Rs. xxxxxx / -. ),and a duplicate or another draft/ PO can be issued to us so that the amount can be transferred back to my husband’s account.
The response I got was that ICICI bank will not entertain any email sent on this and the letter has to be on CitibankÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s letterhead. When I asked for the details of the person to whom the letter/ certificate have to be sent, she said she will revert with the details in next 2 hrs. She did not call up.
I again called up and spoke this time with a different manager and she gave me a different story, she said; please send the certificate from Citibank thru email, exactly the opposite of what the last manager said. When I told her the same thing then she said, write a mail to Prameela as she is the Sr. Manager and she will be able to help you.
Have written her an email but no response, donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t know if she exists on this earth or not.

I am one of the many frustrated EX-ICICI customers, and I think this website provides better service than ICICI. 🙂 At least you did not take my money, then issue me a piece of plastic with a Logo, then prevent access to my money by not issuing a PIN for 45 days. I think your website provides better banking services (NONE) than ICICI (Negative).
I had taken a car loan in 2001 for 6 lakhs i finished paying the amount in 2003, I have yet to received a confirmation letter saying I have cleared my loan. We are planning to go for a Home Loan. But, looking at different characteristics like True Fixed, Floating/Fixed ROIs, Transfer from Fixed to Floating and vice versa, Transfer to another bank. We are not sure to which bank we should go to. Some banks consider 45% of your salary…while some even go upto 65%. Some give 85%..while some stretch upto 92% of the loan amount. We want to go for maximum loan and want to have a mix of fixed and floating ROIs. But, still are undecided on the right bank to chose from. Please share your bad and good experience particularly for home loans.
My problem is that i failed to understand wat a good statement is?for eg i have an savings account in icici bank and i have to maintain a minimum balance of rs5000.than wat is the bank state ment would be.pls create and sent to my email id.

The true pic of ICICI Bank needs to be put forward to people. They donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t provide any information to the customer. And everybody is giving different information and for every problem we have to contact customer care twice or thrice and everytime new person picks up the phone and we haveto explain the query everytime to everybody. Something happened withme also. I tried to book tickets from airdeccan through internet banking. The transaction was unsuccessful and i didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t get any PNR number. I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t know why the amount is debited if the transaction was not successful. And without my confirmation ICICI is charging those payment in installments and also applying service tax.And after that to raise refund against those transactions from airdeccan , airdeccan wants some PG number and trace number against those transactions. And they told me that bank people will give me those numbers. Now ICICI is not giving me these numbers.What to do? Neither airdeccan is going to help me without PG number and trace number nor ICICI is helping me out. So where to go. Every 2nd or 3rd month we have to contact ICICI customer care. And they donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t have answers for those.
I agree with Mr. Neeraj about the true pic of ICICI Bank to be put forward to people, I had an issue too (actually still have it) .. I foreclosed my Personal Loan with ICICI almost 6 months earlier., and till date neither have my cheques been returned to me nor has my ECS given to my bank cancelled.
Even today, jus a couple of mins back I had one of these JOKERS calling me up to ask why the ECS for the loan EMI was cancelled, even though I had patiently told the other six jokers who called up the previous months.
Than when I asked him for his Managers name and Mail ID for correspondence this particular JOKER (by name Ganesh – says in his impressive english -“Puttin on Hold Sir” and disconnected the line .. (guess he put more than just the call on hold here) ..
Anyway I tried their toll free customer care number 1901 333 444 for like eternity and haven’t got even a ringing phone as response ..
But i guess these [email protected]#$&%^* need to really be brought out into th open.
Point here is to make sure that the Seniors (the heads that make all the beautiful and highly customer focused decisions) FEEL our irritation .. not these poor guys who pick up the calls .. (anyway guess thats why they’re there for)
Sad to notice that Customer Care centers are no more about customer care, they do everything to make sure that a customer feeels like shit than feeling that are serviced for …

Dear ICICI Customers,
I hade seen the defaults from the bank on Home loans, Credit cards, Demand draft issuance, EFT Facilities and I agree with all of you that this bank is nothing more than a joke.
My sincere advice to all concerned would be switch to another banks ASAP as days are not far when this bank is going to collapse and all of you may loose your hard earled money.

I am new customer of ICICI Bank.Their Customer support service is very poor.If we call them luckly if you got agent she/he will start to ask verification questions.If in this series of questions if you will not be able to provide ans for recent 3 transactions(who is keeping all these stuffs in memmory with proper amount) they will not even here your requirements.From that point she/he will talk you like police asking questions to thief.Today I talk to pranavi from ICICI.she is asking for cheque no : as verification!!!!!!!!111tell me we used to carry cheque book with us to office every day
