Final Goodbye to my Xbox 360

A final goodbye to my broken xbox 360 which I had purchased in November 2006.

Earlier, it was causing red lights issue when it was in India (along with the DVD drive issue) but when I sent to US, it worked fine without any red light issues, though DVD drive problem was still there. My cousin tested the stuff there and we finally decided to sell it off on Ebay rather than spending money on repairs.

We had started the auction a week back. It started with 25 USD and people started bidding for 26 and 27 USD. Since, today was the last day, few more people started bidding. Finally it got stuck at 86 USD. The real bidding started when there were around 2-3 minutes remaining to end. So finally, it ended at 152.50 USD πŸ™‚ I sold following items with the console:

– XBOX 360 System without the Hard Disk and Remote
– Power Adapter / Cable
– Video / Audio Cables
– Gears of War Game CD
– Need for Speed Carbon Game CD

The retail cost for above will be around 350 USD approximately, so I think 150 is a pretty good deal, considering it is not working well πŸ™‚

I have kept the hard disk and wireless controller. I will use the same in my Indian core console. (Which I am going to buy within a month or so)

So finally, this was my final goodbye to my lovely xbox 360 console, which I loved like anything.

Microsoft, I am coming to buy the new one haha

  1. πŸ˜› that was urs……!!!!

Btw u got a good price considering there was no harddisk, nor the wireless remotes… which would have bagged another 80-100$ I guess….

btw how did it get into this condition?????..and what kind of redlight issues?

  2. well, it started showing me red lights automatically, earlier 3 red lights but then 2 red lights.. but later found out that, it was causing due to step down converter I was using. It worked very well in US. So finally sold it πŸ™‚
